“I heard you brought Acelynn back to the Barber Family, but she was kicked out. Keith,
you want a respectable family reunion; it’s not going to be easy!”

Keith’s love for Acelynn had never changed over the years. To him, I was just a pawn. My child and I were never important.

“Keith, I know what happened back then. I won’t let you or Acelynn off the hook.”
There was a brief silence before Keith could say more, and I impatiently ended the call. It was clear he was aware of the situation.
