“Rowana” Circenn calls. “We’re getting on another ride, get four carriers ready”
“Got it” Rowana salutes with two fingers before going behind the slide to do her thing.
Circen turns to the kids and with too much enthusiasm, he asks.
“Are you guys having fun!”
Jake and Blake starts to nod frantically, similuaneously.
“Are we still going to get ice cream?” Blake asks

I interrupt. “No, you’re not
?” Circenn tums to look at me.
I ignore his gaze and focus on the kids‘
“I told you, both of you, you’re both not getting any ice cream until you do something nice. And you both made daddy worry this morning with your little water gun fights, so that has taken ice cream off your charts”
Their solemn expression causes Circenn to interfere.
“You’re being absurd” He scoffs
I glare at him
“I know how to handle this”
“There’s literally nothing to handle here” He nods,
1 sigh and step in front of him, so his body can block me out from the kids..
“You don’t know how things work here,” I begin. My voice quiet. “I get that they re you’re kids too and you want the absolute best for them, but I assure you junks are not what’s best for them. If you keep going on like this they’ll be nothing but demanding and I’m scared they might go out of
reach from me.”
Cercenn is staring at me, his expression is blank
“But how am I ever going to be enough for them if I don’t fill in their demands” He asks.
His words touches me a bit and I kiss my teeth and tilt my head.
“Look at you, you’re already enough. Your presence is doing so much more than your corruption ever will”
“Corruption” His face morphs into bewilderment.

I stop laughing and breathe out a sigh
“It’s all a little too much, but sometimes you have to draw the line and not give them everything they ask for. You should know when to give them

We all move to where Rowana is and get seated for our ride.

“Not entirely, I just don’t get the thrill” Circenn nods
“The thrill is basically getting splashed while we ride down the slide” I shrug.

Rorana bursts into another Laugh as she pats Blake’s check after confirming the seat belt around his waist is super tight.
“You two are a match made in heaven” she says before walking away.

Circenn suddenly announce
“Who?” I ask, snapping my head around like a seagull.
“The photographer I hired. It’s best you don’t know where he is, just pretend you look happy and you’re having fun,” Circenn nods.

“Yes. Daddy, this is fun!” Jake says immediately

Circenn smiles at them.

The ride begins after a heads up from Rowana, and it begins slowly before starting to go down the slide rapidly.
Jake and Blake screams in crazy excitement, while the thrill makes me laugh like 1 am crazy.
We get in the end of the enormous and wavy slide with a loud splash.
And I can’t stop the laugh I am having with my boys.
1 look up at Circenn and see a faint smile on his lips.
As I get rid of the wet hair glued to my face, I ask.

My head snaps at him to see him staring at something longingly.
“I want to go there?” He points.
I turn to what he’s pointing at and it is a section of huge different colored donut balloons that shoots out tiny sprays of water at any intruder
I glance at Rowana from where she is seated and she gives me a

“Well help yourselves our 1 smile as I take off their seatbelts and watch them run towards the balloons with Rowana behind them.

I get out of the carrier and get into the pool, loving the way the heated water and the warm sun are battling against my body.
“Goth. I feel like a teenager again” 1 breathe out, leaning against the staircase inside the pool
