Circenn’s kiss takes me by surprise, but I start to reciprocate as I thought about being cooperative.
His lips against my lips are soft, calculative and it follows a certain pallern,
Unlike our wedding’s kiss which was desiring and just spontaneous. Which at the end of it was really good,
This one is really soft and subtle, it’s like kissing when you’re exhausted and just want your lips to nibble on something.
I want to withdraw, not because the kiss is way too gentle for my liking but because my toes hurt from standing on them trying to keep up with Circean’s height. And my torso is being stretched and it’s making me not enjoy this kiss.
We’re doing this for a reporter to take good couple photos, but why should I have to suffer?
I pull back from the kiss and fall back into my height.
“My toes hurt, I complain
“O” He looks surprised.
“I’m sure
sure the photographer or reporter got a good shot already” I sigh.
“That was barely a kis” He scoffs.
And I agree
“Well I’m not going in for another one if it requires me to stretch my torso and stand on my toe inside the water” I shake my head.
“You should have said so” He scoffs and walks close to me.
Before I can ask what he is about to do, he carefully grabs my waist with his right hand and then goes on to grab the back of both my thighs with his left hand, before lifting me and placing me to sit on his stomach with my legs around his torso.
My body heats up from the inside and my eyes widen at him.
“What in the world are you doing?” I gasp. Looking around like I am participating in the most sinful thing.
Well his name is Circenn. It has ‘sin‘ to it, so my instincts cannot be wrong
“Relax” He shrugs, placing my hand around his shoulder and locking his hands on the small of my back.
“We’re married. We can do things like this
He says.
My cheeks heat up like a furnace.

married, the only shocking thing here is that our marriage is shortly limited. You’re acting like you’ve never dated anyone” He scoffs.
I pause and stare down at him.
He reads my expression quickly.

never dated anyone?” He doesn’t sound like he’s mocking me for the first time. He actually sounds a bit worried, which is worse, “Is it by choice of –
I roll my eyes and he stops talking
“I was too poor and starving to think about dating. I dedicated my entire youth working and to add to my already horrible life, I got pregnant for you and got chased. And well, even after the boys, men got frightened or intimidated when they find out I have two kids” I explain plainly.
He looks taken

I look around shyly

Our lips meet and this time, we take the world by storm with our lips,
Because our heads are not far apart, the kiss becomes far from gentle.
As Circenn’s hand rests tightly around my waist, my hand runs wild around his neck and his wet hair.
We start to exchange tongues and he opens his mouth to give me a perfect taste of fainting maple syrup.
We are both out of breath when I start to feel these high voltages of electric shock, scattering every cell in my body. I don’t know if it’s because I am about to pass out from being breathless or if it’s because this kiss is one of the most exhilarating things I’ve had all week.
We break apart, with our chest rising and dropping in perfect synchronization.
It’s like running a 100m race.

Walking out of his grip, and His very hard torso. I fall back into the water and look everywhere but Circenn.
“I’m sure your photographer already got enough photos”
I hear Circenn chuckles, and it forces me to look at him.
“What!” I glare at him.
“It’s nothing” He beams.
The sun is setting when we all say goodbye to Rowana and make it back to our car.

It feels. I don’t know. A little bit nice referring to Circenn’s car as ours.
“Did my favorite boys have fun today?” Circenn asks as he buckles the boys‘ seatbelts nice and tight.

“Right” I scoff mockingly.
Circent walks around the car and when he gets into the driver’s seat, He turns to me.
“Not with the wacky water slide. After that” He smirks at me

Chapter 44
Today was nice.
I can’t lie that I did in fact enjoy every bit of it.
And I love that my boys loved it too.
As we hit the road, I can’t tell if it’s just me
I feel a very different aura between Circenn and t.
It’s not like earlier when we were going to the water park
I can’t really explain but it feels different between us.
Maybe I am just imagining things, but it feels calm and less groggy with us.
We get home faster than when we were arriving.
And the moment e are pulling up in the driveway, Enora is approaching us.
“Enora.
I jump out of the car.
“What was with that swimsuit!” I whisper–yell
She looks surprised, but doesn’t fail to reply to me.
