We get into the mansion and I make my way into our bedroom as Elena insists on handling our luggages.
As I get ready to take my clothes off, Circenn walks into the room.
1 stop what I am about to do and glower at him.
“What?” He walks past me.
I turn around to face him.
“Elena said you picked out that horrible swimsuit for me?
I throw my hands up dramatically.
He looks at me and a smile creeps up his face.
“She asked for my help, and opinion and it wasn’t horrible. It was good. You looked good in it”
His words make me pause and I immediately try to push the Duster feeling that slowly starts to move up my check.
“That’s not the p
point” I shake my head.
“There are no points to be proven, now if you excuse me. I have an important call to make” He waves his phone in front of his face and walks to the end of the room.
I let out a sigh.
I gently let my body collapse on the bed.

I am exhausted and don’t have any ounce of thoughts in Me
I need to go take a shower but I am too lazy to even get on my feet.
My head turns to Circenn and there I start to watch him make his phone call with whoever he is talking to
My mind flashes back to the water park and I gulp.
I blink frantically and scoff at myself.
I try to pull in another thought but the thought of his hand holding my waist, his lips against mine, how his body looked quite perfect, creeps up on me and I shudder

Circenn snaps his head at me and raises his eyebrows.

I apologise with a gesture and dash into the bathroom.
While soaking my unclad body inside the bathtub, I try so hard not to start thinking about Circenn but my every thought decides to center around everywhere and everything that starts with him.

And just in time, Circenn walks into the room.
He sees me lying quietly and calls me.
“Noam” My name always sounds rigid with his voice, but tonight, this moment. It is a bit softer.
I turn to him.
“Have you seen the new headline on you and Charles?” He asks.

His expression doesn’t give away anything bad, but my hand instantly grabs my phone and as I get on the internet the first thing I am seeing is

I can’t imagine being the city’s biggest sensation and getting watched over everything I do.
No one gave a single damn about when Charles and I almost got roasted during our company’s collaboration dinner party. But they’re all quick to judge and rant when we both went on a so–called date.
I fall back on the bed and breathe out a sigh of relief.

“Are the boys asleep!” I ask, not hoping to get a reply, because I know when Circenn goes quiet. He goes dead silent.
He surprises me by saying,
“Yeah, I tucked them in and read a few lines from their bedtime story”
“Bedtime story? Since when do they want bedtime stories” I am seriously surprised.
“I don’t know, it’s been what they’ve been demanding any time I walk in on them when they’re trying to fall asleep. So about a week ago, I got them multiple books to read

His words are few but so assuring. My mind settles in and I don’t know when my eyes closed up and when I drift off to sleep
I open my eyes the next morning to meet Elena standing in front of me, her big brown eyes gawking at me like I have something on my face.

“Elena!” I slowly sit up.
my side to see that Circenn is not here, as expected.
“Good morning ma’am” Elena smiles.
“Good morning, is something the matter?” Her expression is soft and calm. But I just had to ask.
“Mr. McCain has called for a family meeting in the main mansion” She begins

“Why?” I ask, getting on my feet.
“I have no idea ma’am. 1 was asked to get you ready” she shakes her head.
“So go be clear, Eddie. Circenn’s father called for a family meeting?” I asked.
“Yes ma’am” She nods.
The door opens and Circenn walks in
“Meeting has been cancelled.” He announces “Elena help Naomi get dressed, we have a party to crash.”
I turn to him to see him dressed in a shiny waxedo, his black hair gelled back and perfectly styled
His eyes are so pure with no hair blocking the view.
“I’m sorry!” I say. “What party!” I ask.
“I’ll explain on the way, the boys are ready too
“The boys! Are the twins attending this party?” I ask, trying my best to understand what in the world can be happening m.
“Yes. The McCain’s are all attending” He nods.

“And I’ll go pick an outfit ready” She nods
In no time, I am out of the shower and dressed in a red body–com
dress Elena has picked out
The dress is as audacious as its daring color, and it clings to my every curve and more,
“Isn’t this a bit too much!” I ask, as Elena gently applies red lipgloss on my lips.
“No, it’s the perfect dress” she shakes her head.
“Definitely on theme, and Mr. Circenn is in a red tie, it will be a perfect match.”
“I’m not so sure” I sigh.
“You look perfect Ma’am” Elena smiles at me.
Her words set me to feel a bit good about myself, but then I stop and turn to her
“You said I was on theme. Do you have any idea what this party is about“”

Elena continues. “They trust Mr. McCain’s judgment for also choosing you as an owner but they still want to get to know you and that’s why they decided to organize a meeting last night. That would happen this morning, but turns out it wasn’t a meeting at all but a party”
“So this is like a test?” My heart slips. “They throw a party because they know if they had gone through with a meeting, I would have been forced to act sophisticated even if I’m not. So they go on to throw a party so reveal the side I will try conceal”
“Exactly ma’am” Elena agrees.
“Oh I’ll show them all sides of me then I shake my head.
When Elena finishes the wavy curls she is giving to my straight hair. I get on my feet and thank her.

I walk outside the room after grabbing my purse. And that’s when I see my boys standing with their father, waiting for Me.
The three of them are dressed in the exact same tuxedo. The only difference is while Circenn is in a red tie, the twins have a red bow tie around. their shirt. And all their ties are strictly matching my dress,
The three of them look so identical it’s hard to look away from how dashing they look.
“Mommy!” Jake calls excitedly when I make it down the stairs.
Circenn stops whatever he is doing and his eyes fall on mine.
