Chapter 15
Ethan’s Point of View
“So you are planning on telling Sofia everything tonight?” my dad asked. My dad had mind–linked me to come to his office because the Red Moon Pack Alpha, Alex, had called to let us know they were having with the Half Moon Pack. My dad is making both of the Alphas come to our castle to figure out what the issue is and how to solve it. One thing I forgot to tell you was that my dad was the werewolf king, and I would be taking over as king soon. Normally, the heir to the throne takes over as soon as they find their mate, but Sofia doesn’t know about werewolves, and I don’t feel comfortable taking over until I tell her everything. Once I take over, she will become the queen of werewolves, and I want her to be ready and rule by my side like she is supposed to.
“Yeah, I am taking her out to dinner tonight. I plan on telling her everything then,” I said
“I think that’s a good idea. The sooner you tell her, the better. I have also summoned Alpha Alex and Alpha Brent here to discuss their issues. It would be best if she found out about what we were before they showed up. Plus, she is living in a house full of werewolves. I don’t know how long it would take for her to figure it out on her own. I told everyone to be cautious and not shift in front of her, but mistakes happen all of the time,” My dad said. I knew he was right. It would be best for me to tell Sofia. It wouldn’t be good if she found out on her own.
Chapter 15
“I know. I am going to tell her tonight. I only hope she takes it well,” I said
“Good,” Dad said
“Why is King Lestat coming here anyway?” I asked. King Lestat just took over as Vampire King for his father.
“He wanted to meet with me to discuss the agreement I had with his father,” my dad said
“Do you think he
think he wants to break the agreement?” I asked. Before my dad took over as werewolf king, Vampires and werewolves were always killing. each other. We would have gone to war if my dad and Lestat hadn’t come up with an agreement. We still didn’t get along, but at least we weren’t murdering each other. The agreement was we would stop killing each other.
“I don’t think he wants to break the agreement. I think he just wants to introduce himself. You know King Lestat is over one hundred years old, and his dad is over five hundred. I am sure he is happy that his father finally made him Vampire King.
“Yeah, I couldn’t imagine waiting that long,” I said. We talked for a little while longer before I excused myself to get ready to take Sofia out on our date.
“Ethan, wait up,” I heard as she walked over to me. I had just left my dad’s office and was on my way to my room.

“What do you want, Jane?” I asked.
“I wanted to let you know that I am sorry for the way I acted last night. I know that Sofia is your mate and that your wolf needs her. I shouldn’t have acted the way I did,” Jane said.
“Thanks, Jane. It makes me happy that you understand that Sofia is my mate,” I replied.
“yeah, I understand that your wolf needs her to stay calm, but that doesn’t mean I can’t be your Luna,” Jane said, causing me to frown.
“What do you mean?” I asked
“You and I both know that Sofia cannot be the Luna of this Pack. She is a human, and she knows nothing about werewolves. Humans are too weak to take care of a Pack. I am the Beta’s daughter, and I was born to become. the Luna of this Pack,” Jane said.
“That is not going to happen, Jane. Sofia is my mate, and she will be my Luna, and you better watch the way you speak about my mate.” I replied.
“But, she is a human, Ethan, and you and I have been together for so long. You and I have great chemistry, and we love each other.” Jane said, and I sighed in frustration.
“Jane, I am going to tell you the truth. I never loved you, at least not in the way you wanted me to love you. I have always cared about you as a friend. I have always loved Sofia. The only reason I stayed away from her and was

with you was because I thought you might be my mate. I was trying to get over my feelings for her and hoped that the most time I spent with you would make me fall in love with you, but it never happened,” I said. I felt bad for telling her that because I could tell by her facial expression that I hurt her feelings, but she needed to know the truth.
“You are lying,” Jane said
“No, I am not. Everything I am telling you is the truth. I have always loved Sofia, and I am so happy she is my mate. I am sorry, but that is the truth. That is why I would never sleep with you or any other she–wolf. The only woman I have ever wanted is Sofia,” I said. Jane was quiet for a moment, and I could see tears forming in her eyes, which made me feel worse.
“Jane, I am sorry. I am sure you will find your mate, and he will make you happy,” I said
“Yeah, I am sure you are right. Thanks for letting me know. I will be fine,”
Jane said
“I am sure you will. I have to go now. I really am sorry, Jane.” I said
“I know,” Jane replied, and I walked away. I felt terrible and wished I could change the way I acted in the past, but I knew I wouldn’t be able to. All I could do was make better decisions from now on.
I made it to my room to shower and change. It was time for me to tell Sofia everything, and hopefully, she would forgive me for what I did and accept
me as her mate.
