Sofia’s Point of View
I couldn’t believe what I had seen. Ella and the two guys had turned into wolves. I just sat on the ground, thinking about what I had just seen. I had to be hallucinating, or I must be dreaming. I pinched myself, hoping I would wake up, but I didn’t. I was still on the ground, and Tammie and Jane were still there talking. Eric had left to see what was going on.
“Sofia.” I looked up to see Ethan walking over to me. “What happened?”
Ethan asked
“She was running and bumped into me because she wasn’t watching where she was going, so she fell on the ground. She said she saw Ella and two guys shift,” Jane said.
“Everything is going to be okay,” Ethan said as he kneeled in front of me.
“Did you do anything to her?” Ethan growled as he looked at Jane
“No, she bumped into me and said she saw Ella shift. I didn’t do anything to her,” Jane said.
“Everything is going to be okay, Sof. You need to calm down,” Ethan said
“I knew she would overreact. I knew she wasn’t strong enough for this.”

Jane said
“Jane, you better watch your mouth,” Ethan said.
“I am just saying,” Jane said
“The two of you need to stop arguing.” Tammie said, and then she looked at Jane. Jane, you need to watch your mouth, and Ethan, take Sof into the house,” Tammie said. Ethan picked me up bridal–style, and then I spoke.
“No, you need to help Ella. She is in trouble,” I finally said, causing
everyone to look at me,
“Ella is fine, Sof,” Ethan said.
“NO, those guy wolves probably attacked her. She might be hurt. You have to help her,” I said. I felt bad that I just thought about Ella. Yeah, she was a werewolf, but she was still my best friend. I started to get upset that
Ethan wasn’t running to help her. “You know what? Just put me down,” I said as I tried to get out of Ethan’s arms. I was happy when Ethan put me down. I started walking in the direction where I had left Ella.
“Wait, where are you going?” Ethan asked
“To help Ella,” I replied
“What.” Ethan asked as he followed after me
“Since you aren’t taking this seriously, I have to help her,” I said
You are planning on helping Ella fight two wolves?” Ethan asked. I could hear the humor in his voice, which made me angry.
“Someone has to help her,” I replied. Suddenly, I saw Ella and Eric
walking toward us. Ella had a blanket wrapped around her body, and Eric was wearing shorts.
“Ella,” I said as I ran over to her and hugged her tightly.
“Sof, are you okay?” Ella asked worriedly
“Am I okay? Are you okay? Did those guys hurt you? I am so sorry I ran away like a coward. I was going to come back and help you, Ella,” I said
“Wait, you were coming back to help me?” Ella asked with a shocked expression on her face, and I nodded. I might have been stupid, but I had to try and do something.
“Yes, I was on my way back there,” I said
“And you aren’t afraid of me?” Ella asked
“No, I was afraid for those men but not of you, Ella. You are my best. friend, and I know you would never hurt me,” I replied
“I thought you were afraid of me. You have no idea how happy I am that you are not,” Ella said
“I could never be afraid of you. Ella. I know you.” I replied

“Let’s go inside,” Eric said. Ethan walked beside me, and when I looked at him, he had a smile on his face. We went to Eric’s office. Ethan, Ella, and I sat across from Eric and Tammie at his desk. Tammie was sitting on his
lap.
“There are some things we need to tell you, Sofia. We should have told you earlier,” Eric said, and I stayed silent, waiting for him to tell me what he needed to, but Ethan spoke.
“You know how Ella is a werewolf?” Ethan asked
“Yeah,” I replied
“Well, she isn’t the only one. Almost everyone here is a werewolf, including me,” Ethan said.
“I had a feeling you were a werewolf. I mean, all of you are Ella’s family so it makes sense that all of you would be werewolves,” I replied.
“I want you to know that none of us would ever hurt you. That guy that shifted in front of you has been locked in a cell,” Ethan said
“What about the other one? There were two guys that shifted in front of
me,” I asked.
“Chace was the one that wanted to hurt you. The other one shifted to help me,” Ella replied. I thought about the other guy and remembered he told Chace not to shift, so it made sense that he wasn’t trying to attack me. Now, I had one question that was getting to me.
