Chapter 31
Ethan’s Point of View
This can’t be right. Someone was here, and we needed to figure out who it was. I need you to try again,” I told the trackers that were in Sol’s room. It had been over an hour, and we still didn’t know who destroyed Sof’s room, and to say I was upset would be an understatement. I was fucking pissed off. I wanted to find whoever did this and rip their heart out of their chest.
What made me even more mad was the fact that Sof saw the pig’s blood and head. I was happy I could get her out of there before she saw the mess in the bathroom. There was pig blood all over the bathroom. The tub was filled with it, along with three pigs‘ bodies and two detached heads. The most disturbing thing was that someone wrote, “STAY AWAY FROM ETHAN, OR YOU WILL PAY THE PRICE. ETHAN IS MY MATE, NOT YOURS!” on the shower door with the pig’s blood.
“I am sorry, Alpha Eric and Alpha Ethan, but there is no other scent but yours and our future Luna Queens. We can pick up Princess Ella’s and Luna Tammie’s as well, but they are faint. I know it was from either early in the morning. Besides your scent and all of the trackers and warriors that are here right now, there is nothing else.” I was about to tell him to check again, but my father spoke first.
“Okay, you all can go,” My dad said, and all of the trackers left.
“This makes no sense. How can they not track who was here?” I asked.
This reminded me of the whole situation between Chace and Daniel. “Do you think it was the evil witch Tabatha was talking about?” I asked. Tabatha had been trying to figure out who the evil witch was, which was making it impossible for us to figure out who killed Daniel in the jail cell, but she was having trouble. She said whoever it was was very powerful, and that worried me because they were either working with someone to
get rid of Sof or they wanted her gone. I knew whatever was going on Janc had something to do with it.
“I don’t know, son. Tabatha should be here soon, and she can tell us if she senses the evil magic,” Dad said
“You were right. I can sense evil magic in this room. The same evil magic that I sensed in the Pack Prison,” Tabatha said after she did her spell.
“That means an evil witch is after Sofia. We have to keep her safe,” Dad said
“I don’t believe the evil witch is the one that wants our future queen dead. If they were, then they would have killed her by now. I think someone in this pack has hired them to help get rid of her,” Tabatha said.
“Jane,” I growled.
“Son, we don’t know that it is her,” my dad said
“Who else could it be, Dad? She is obsessed with me. She hates Sof. She is the only one who would do this. We need to bring her in for questioning.” I said, and my dad sighed. I knew he didn’t want it to be her because my mom and he were best friends with Jane’s parents. Her father
was my dad’s beta.
“Okay, son. I know you are right. I am going to have one of the worriers bring her in for questioning,” my dad said. I was going to find out if Jane had something to do with it, and if I was right, and she did, she would wish she had never been born.
“Stop lying, Jane. I know you were the one that has been doing these things to Sof. You might as well tell me the truth,” I growled. I was pissed. off. My dad and I had been interrogating Jane for over an hour now, but
she kept telling us that she was innocent.
“I am not lying. Ethan. I haven’t done anything to Sofia,” Jane said
“You mean Luna Sofia. She is your future Luna Queen, and that is how I expect you to address her,” I growled. I knew Jane didn’t like that I had told her that Sof was her future Luna Queen. I knew she was pissed by her facial expression. “I don’t have time for this. Dad, just alpha commands. her to tell the truth,” I said, and my dad agreed. Jane, did you have anything to do with…” Before my dad could finish, the door busted open, causing us to look in the direction of the door to see West standing there. West was one of the leaders of the werewolf council.
“What are you doing here.” My dad growled.
“I am sorry, Alpha Eric, but I need to speak to you in private.” West said, and my dad and I walked out of the room.
“How dare you walk in on me while I am interrogating one of my pack members, and why are you on my territory?” My dad said angrily.

“I am sorry, Alpha Eric, but I am here because there has been an accusation made on you and your son,” West said
“What accusation?” I asked
“That you have been mistreating Beta Kane’s daughter, Jane because you found your mate.”
