Chapter 36
Sofia’s Point of View
“I am sorry, mam, but you need to stay there,” One of the pack members that Ethan had guarding me said as he got in front of my mom and stopped her from coming toward me.
“What are you talking about? She is my daughter. You can’t stop me from talking to her,” My mom said, and then she looked at me. “Tell him who I am, Sofia,” My mom said angrily.
“It’s okay. She is my mother,” I said, but the guy still didn’t let her come
over to me.
“I am sorry but the boss told us that no one is allowed to come near you.”
“Boss. Who is your boss?” my mom said.
“What is going on here,” Tammie said, causing everyone to look at her. “Tina,” Tammie said with a surprised expression on her face.
“Tammie,” my mom says, and then she looks at me when she sees Tammie standing close to Ella and me. “What are you doing with my daughter?” my mom asks. I could tell she was upset by her facial expression.
“Sofia is your daughter?” Tammie said as she looked at me and then at my mom. I could tell they knew each other, but I didn’t know how.
Chapter 36
“Yes, she is my daughter, and your guards won’t let me talk to her,” My mom said.
“It’s okay. You can go over there with the other guards,” Tammie said, and the guard bowed before walking away.
“I didn’t know Sof was your daughter. Does that mean she is Don…” Tammie started to say, but my mom cut her off.
“What is my daughter doing with you? How the hell do you even know my daughter?” My mom said
“Well, for one, she has been going to Eclipse Academy since fifth grade, and she is also my daughter’s best friend and my son…” Tammie started saying, but my mom cut her off
“I don’t care about what you have to say,” My mom said, and then she glared at me. “Sofia, we need to go,” My mom said, and she tried to grab onto my arm, but Tammie got in front of me.
“She isn’t going anywhere with you,” Tammie said
“She is my daughter,” my mom said
“You lost the right to call her your daughter when you abandoned her,” Tammie said
“Who do you think you are?” My mom said.
“I am the woman who took your daughter in when you left her in an

apartment with no heat. You say that you are her mother, but you haven’t been acting like it. You didn’t even know she was going to the school I own,” Tammie said
“Well, she won’t be going there anymore. Sofia, let’s go,” My mom said
“She isn’t going anywhere with you. You haven’t changed one bit, Tina. You are still the same selfish girl you were back in the day,” Tammie said
“Sofia, let’s go,” My mom said
“I said she isn’t going anywhere with you,‘ Tammie said.
“I bet she would go if she knew what you were,” my mom said
“She already knows what we are, Tina,” Tammie said and my mom looked
at me
“You know what they are?” My mom asked
“Yes,” I replied
“Then you should know they are not good people. You are not safe with them. You need to come back home with me. I am no longer with Max.” My mom said and Tammie laughed
“Oh, so now you want Sofia to come home with you because your boyfriend broke up with you. You are something else.” Tammie said, and my mom glared at her.
“This has nothing to do with you, Tina,” my mom said, and then
looked at me. “Come on, Sofia,” My mom said, and she started walking away. When she noticed I wasn’t following her, she looked at me. “Come on, Sofia,” My mom yelled at me.
“No,” I replied, shocking my mom and myself
“What do you mean no?” My mom asked
“I am not going with you,” I said.
“but I am your mother,” My mom said
“Oh, come on, Tina. You and I both know you haven’t been a good mother to her. Not once have you come to the school to hear about how good Sof was doing,” Tammie said
“No one is talking to you, Dog,” my mom said.
“Whatever, Tina,” Tammie said, and then she looked at me and then Ella. “Let’s go home,” Tammie said, and we started to leave.
“Sofia, Sofia. Don’t go with them. It isn’t safe,” My mom screamed. I looked back to see two of the guards were holding my mom back from getting to me. “What are you doing? Get away from me,” My mom said. I turned around and walked to the car with Tammie and Ella.
“Are you okay?” Tammie asked
“Yeah,” I said, but I couldn’t help but wonder how my mom and Tammie

knew each other and how did my mom know about werewolves.
