Sofia’s Point of View
“Ella and Sofia, Courtney and Anya are here to see you girls,” Tammie said
“I wonder what they are doing here,” Ella said, and a few moments later, they walked into her room.
“Hey, Ella. Hey Luna Sof,” Anya said.
“I told you just to call me Sof,” I replied. Everyone had been calling me Luna since they found out I was Ethan’s Mate.
“We can’t do that. You are our future Luna Queen,” Anya said
“Anyway, there is a party tonight. Are the two of you coming?” Courtney asked
“I don’t know,” Ella said
“I think I am just going to stay here,” I said. With everything going on I knew it wouldn’t be a good idea to go to a party. Plus I was sure Ethan wouldn’t want me to go..

friend since finding out I was Ethan’s mate. Everyone used to ignore me, and they would never invite me to a party before that.
“Yeah, the both of you should come with us,” Courtney said with a smile on her face. Before Ella or I could say something, someone else spoke.
“They won’t be going to any parties tonight.” We all looked towards the door to see Ethan standing there. “Can I speak to you in private?” Ethan asked, and I nodded my head.
“Yes,” I said, and I looked at Ella. “I will see you later,” I said
“See ya,” Ella said, and I walked toward the door. Before Ethan and I left, he looked at Ella.
“Remember, no parties tonight,” Ethan said, and Ella rolled her eyes
“I wasn’t planning on going to the party anyway,” Ella said. Ethan nodded, grabbed my hand, and we left the room.
“How are you feeling?” Ethan asked once we were in the private elevator.
“I feel fine,” I replied
“You aren’t in any pain or anything,” Ethan asked worriedly
“No, I am not in pain,” I replied
“Are you
you sure? You have no headaches or…” Ethan started to say, but I cut him off.

“I am fine, Ethan. You don’t have to worry,” I said
“I can’t help it, Love,” Ethan said.
“You are acting like I was in the hospital because I was sick. Dr. Sally just gave me an IV. I feel fine,” I said
“She gave you an IV because you had Wolfsroot in your system. You should take that seriously, Sof,” Ethan said. I knew he was right. I was in the hospital because my mom had been drugging me since I was little. Dr. Sally said that we wouldn’t know how much effect the wolfroot had on my wolf for a few months. She said since it is out of my system, I should shift soon, and if I don’t, that means I most likely won’t ever shift. She said I will most likely get my powers soon as well, which was both scary and exciting. I wondered what my powers would be and how hard it would be for me to control them.
It was fucked up how my mom would drug me all my life. She didn’t even care that she was hurting me. A mother was supposed to love her child, but mine only cared about herself.
“I know this is serious, Ethan. I’m just trying to stay calm,” I said. I was honestly worried about the effects of the Wolfsroot, but I didn’t want to show it. Ethan wrapped his arms around me and pulled my body closer to his, and then he carressed my cheeks softly, sending pleasurable sparks through my body.
“I know it is scary, Love, but know that I will always be here for you. I will never let anyone hurt you and will protect you with my life,” Ethan said. I knew he meant it by his facial expression.
“I know,” I replied, and Ethan kissed my lips softly before pulling away from me and placing his hand in mine.
“I have something I want to show you,” Ethan said as he walked out of the elevator. I didn’t know how long the elevator had stopped, but when we walked out of the elevator, I saw that we were in a room that looked to be an unfurnished living room. “Let me show you around,” Ethan said, and we looked around the floor. There was a huge, beautiful kitchen, dining room, bathroom, two small rooms that looked like they could be offices, and a big room that looked like it could be used for entertainment. There was a big balcony that had a lot of beautiful flowers. I always loved flowers.
“Let’s look upstairs,” Ethan said, and we walked hand in hand up the stairs. There were four bedrooms and a bathroom. The master bedroom was at the end of the hall, and there was a bathroom with his and her sinks, a jacuzzi tub that looked like it could fit six people and a big shower. There were also two walk–in closets. “Do you like it?” Ethan asked
“Yeah, it’s beautiful, but why are you showing it to me?” I asked
“Because my father and I added this floor to the castle for you and me. We built it when I was fourteen for when I found my mate,” Ethan said.
“Really,” I asked with a smile on my face.
“Really,” Ethen said, and then I started to frown. I remember Ethan telling me that he thought Jane was going to be his mate and that that was the reason he started dating her and annoying me. That meant everything he did for his mate was for her because that was who he thought his mate

would be.
“What’s wrong?” Ethan asked worriedly
“Nothing,” I replied.
“I can tell something is bothering you, Love. What is it?” Ethan asked, and I sighed
“I know you did this for Jane. She was the one you thought would be your mate,” I replied. Ethan looked at me for a moment before he started to speak.
“You are right, Sof. I thought Jane was going to be my mate, but she wasn’t the one I thought about when my dad and I were getting this floor ready. Do you see those walls? They are light blue, which I know is your favorite color. Janes’s favorite color is pink. Also, the kitchen. I knew that you would love a huge kitchen because you love to cook. I would hear you and Ella talking about how you would want your dream house to be and you always said you wanted a huge kitchen with black appliances. You also love flowers and that was why I put all those flowers on the balcony. I might have thought that Jane would be my mate, but she wasn’t the one I wanted. You, Sof, are the woman I have always dreamed of being with. You have no idea how happy I am that my dream came true. I love you so much, Sofia Jones. I know you might not be ready to move in with me, especially after the way I treated you, and I understand that, but I want you to know that I can’t wait for the day you are ready to live with me. I am ready to start my life with you,” Ethan said, and I couldn’t help but feel tears falling from my eyes. I was so happy that I couldn’t stop myself from connecting my lips with his.

Ethan was shocked at first, but he quickly recovered and kissed me back passionately. After a few moments, we pulled away from each other’s lips.
“I am ready,” I said
“You are ready for what?” Ethan asked with a confused expression on his
face.
“I am ready to move in with you.”
