Chapter 44
Sofia’s Point of View
“I have to go talk to my father, but you should get some sleep.” Ethan said. and he walked to his closet and pulled out one of his t–shirts and shorts for me to wear. It was a little over five in the morning when we made it back to the castle. We went to Ethan’s old room since there was no furniture on our floor. “Change into this and then get in bed. I think it would be best for you to miss school today and rest.” Ethan said.
“Okay,” I said, and I took the clothes from his hand and headed to the bathroom that was attached to his room to change. Once I was dressed, I walked back into the room to see Ethan sitting on the bed, waiting for me. I could tell he was tired because his eyes were red from not sleeping. Ethan quickly got up off the bed and moved the comforter so that I could get on the bed. Once I was on the bed. Ethan put the comforter over my body and kissed the top of my head.
“You should get some sleep, too. You look tired,” I said
“I have to go see my father. I will be okay,” Ethan said, and he pecked my lips. “I will be back as soon as I am done talking to my father. I have guards standing outside the door for your safety. I will be back soon.” Ethan said
“Okay.” I replied

“Get some rest, Love,” Ethan said, and then he left the room. I lay in bed thinking about everything that had happened. First, Jane tried to kill me, and she was missing. Now I learned that my mom is a witch and my birthfather is a werewolf. I know I am doing the right thing, letting my birth father know about me. Hopefully, he and his family will accept me.
Ethan’s Point of View
“Don’t leave your position while I am gone,” I told the two guards who were guarding my bedroom door.
“Okay, Alpha Ethan,” the guards said at the same time, and I headed to my parents‘ floor. After Sof told me that she wanted to let Don know about her, I mind–linked my father, letting him know that she had decided to tell Don about her. He told me that he was going to reach out to Don. Once I got inside my parents‘ room, I saw my father sitting at the dining room table looking at the paperwork.
“Hey, Dad,” I said as I sat across from him at the dining room table
“Hey, son. I contacted Don’s Pack and told him Gamma that I needed to talk to him about something important. Don called me back about ten minutes later, and I told him about Sofia,” My dad said
“That was fast. I thought it would take longer to get ahold of him. What did he say?” I asked
“Just as we expected, he didn’t know he had a daughter. Tina had just disappeared, and Don and his parents had never heard from her again. He said his parents have been sad because she never came back,” My dad said

“So what did he say about Sofia? Does he want to meet her?” I asked
“Yeah, he said he wants to meet his daughter. He was hoping he could come here and visit so that he could meet her. He was hoping he could
come this weekend. I told him that I would have to ask Sofia how she feels
about that,” My dad said
“I will talk to her and see how she feels about meeting him. I don’t know if she will think it is too soon,” I said
“You do that and let me know what she says. I also wanted to tell. you that we let Beta Eric, Linda, and Ryan go, but I have some warriors watching them. If one of them knows where Jane is, I am sure they will lead us to where she is hiding sooner or later,” My dad said
“Good, I also have guards guarding her right now. She is in my room right now, and I plan on taking her to get furniture for our floor once she wakes up. It has been a long night, and she needs to rest. We won’t be going to school today,” I said
“I think that’s a good idea. You didn’t get any sleep with everything that happened last night,” My dad said
“Yeah, I am going to go back to my room adn get some sleep,” I said
“That sounds like a good idea. I am going to go lay down as well. See you later, son,” My dad said.
“See you later.” I replied, and I headed to my room. When I got there, I was shocked to see that Sof was still up. “Ethan,” Sof asked as I walked

into the room.
“Yeah, why are you still awake?” I asked
“I couldn’t sleep. I was hoping you would sleep with me,” Sof said, shocking me. I didn’t know she woudl be okay with us sleeping in the same bed yet, but I was happy.
“Of course, as long as you are okay with me sleeping in the same bed as you,” I said
“Yeah, I am okay with it,” Sof said. I went to my closet and got a pair of shorts to put on. I went to the bathroom, changed into my shorts, and walked out. I didn’t miss the way Sof was checking out my bare chest. “I
normally don’t sleep with a shirt on, but if you are not okay with it, I will
put one on,” I said
“No, you don’t have to. I am okay with it,” Sof said, and I smiled. I got into bed with her and pulled the covers over both of us. I was shocked when Sof moved closer to me and put her head on my chest. I wrapped my arms around her and kissed the top of her head.
“Good night,” Sof said
Good night, Love,” I replied. A few moments later, Sof fell asleep, and it didn’t take long for me to fall asleep. I was happy that I finally had my mate in my arms.
