Even she did not know her tone carried a hint of seeking advice from Stephien.
Right now, it’s not your concern. Since she’s taken the position, the challenges and issues are hers to handle. Focus on eating, Stephen replied. Layla lost her appetite at this point.
Stephen put on gloves and began peeling shrimp for Layla. “The management level isn’t something you need to worry about just yet. Do your job, work diligently. Also, as an employee and a married person, you should avoid chatting with the opposite sex during work hours.”

After lunch, Stephen dropped Layla off nearby. “Will you be here for lunch tomorrow?
“No, I can’t.”
Stephen pulled out the marriage certificate from his pocket and playfully said, “In that case, you’ll need to send me photos of your dinners every day what you’re eating.”
Layla glanced at the marriage certificate that bound her to Stephen. “Alright, alright.”
She got out of the car and walked away without loolding back
Stephen watched her retreating figure with a smile, then tucked the marriage certificate back into his pocket before driving off.
At 6:00 pm, Stephen sent Layla a photo of their wedding certificate
Layla tolled her eyes and quickly snapped a picture of Benson’s dinner to send to Stephen.
With his mouth full, Benson looked puzzled and asked, “Layla, what’s going on?”
Moments later, Stephen called,
“What now?” Layla answered impatiently.
Stephen said, “You don’t like onions.”
Layla glanced at the onion in Benson’s lunch food box and fell silent.
“I’ll give you one more chance.”

This time, Layla checked with a colleague to make sure there were no onions in her fast food before taking a photo and sending it to Stephen
Her colleague watched her in puzzlement,

Ten minutes later, an expensive ear pulled up outside. Everyone assumed it was a client and went to greet them, “Is Ms. Murray here?”
Layla stood up. “Are you my client?”
Ms. Murray, nice to meet you. Your husband has sent you dinner.”
