Chapter 28
The principal stood in front of Wilfred, trembling with fear.
She didn’t know why Mr. Wilfred Louise would suddenly come to the kindergarten.
“Mason, go back to your work. I’m just here for a walk,” Wilfred said casually.
But how could Mason leave him to walk around on his own? She could lose her job if any of the staff offended Mr. Louise.
She didn’t dare to say that she was not busy, or Wilfred would think she had nothing to do.
Mason’s brain was spinning fast as she tried to figure something out. She suddenly remembered that it was Wilfred’s secretary who had put the twins in.
“Is Mr. Wilfred Louise here to see the two kids?
Thinking of this, she asked tentatively, “Mr. Wilfred Louise, Charlie and his sister just came to the kindergarten today. They’re well–behaved. Do you want me to get them here?”
Wilfred stood up and said, “Take me to their classroom to have a look.”
On the way to the classroom, Mason said, “The two kids are well–behaved. They didn’t cry or make trouble when Elsie brought them here.”
Hearing that, Wilfred couldn’t help frowning.
A qualified mother wouldn’t let someone else drop her kids off on their first day at school.
His impression of Angela became even worse.
At this time, Charlie and Danielle were plotting how to sneak out of the kindergarten to go to Louise Group.
Wilfred looked into the classroom through the window and saw the two kids whispering to each other in the corner. They didn’t seem to fit in with other kids.
The teacher didn’t pay attention to them, obviously not taking them seriously.
He was a little annoyed. The twins were part of the Louise family and the apple of his eye. How could they let them stay in the corner of the classroom?
Seeing the anger on Wilfred’s face, Mason was so nervous that sweat popped up on her forehead.
“I was so careless! If the kids had nothing to do with Mr. Louise, he wouldn’t have personally come to see them.
“Since they were arranged by his secretary, I should have paid special attention to them.”
While Mason was still regretting it, Wilfred turned around and left the corridor.
“Have you arranged accommodation for them?” he asked coldly.
Mason bowed and replied, “Yes, Mr. Wilfred Louise. If you are not satisfied, I can rearrange it.”
“No need. I’ll send a driver to pick them up every day.”
Mason’s back began sweating at his words.
At that very moment, the bell rang. Charlie, Danielle, and the other children left their seats one by one.
However, the twins came out from the back door as if they were about to do something that they didn’t want the others to know.
Mason was about to call out to them, but Wilfred stopped her.
He was a bit curious about what the two kids were about to do.
While the other kids were playing cheerfully, Charlie took Danielle’s hand and walked toward the stairs.
After they slipped out of the teaching building, Danielle went straight to the gate, while Charlie ran to the amusement castle on the side.
Danielle was stopped by the security guard at the entrance.
She tried every means to attract his attention. The guard was indeed distracted by this adorable little girl.

Chapter 28
At this time, Charlie slipped out of the amusement castle and sneaked up to the gate.
Just as he sneaked out, someone grabbed him by the collar.
At Gem, Kimberly was standing angrily at Angela’s office door.
As soon as she saw her, she rushed over and questioned her, “Angela, why are you so late for work? Where have you been?”
Angela cast a cold glance at her and said calmly, “I can’t tell you where I was. As for why I’m late for work today, have you forgotten that I asked you for leave?”

She wanted to spend some time chatting with the teacher about her children’s first day at kindergarten, so she asked for half a day off.
Kimberly looked fiercely at her and yelled, “Angela, you’re as shameless as your mother! Pierre is mine. I won’t let you take him away from me!”
A trace of sarcasm flashed across Angela’s beautiful eyes.
She flipped her smooth hair and said with a smile, “It was your mother who stole someone else‘ husband, right?”
This was Kimberly’s taboo. Her mother was a mistress; thus, she had been called an illegitimate child for more than 20 years.
“Angela is a real illegitimate child, but she’s so arrogant in front of me. It’s totally unacceptable!” she thought angrily.
Kimberly raised her hand and was about to slap Angela, but she grabbed her wrist and sneered, “Do you think I’m still who I used to be? You’re so
naive!”
With that, she gave her a shove, causing her to lose her balance and fall to the floor.
But Kimberly didn’t say anything. Angela had never been so harsh to her and she was scared by the fierce look in her eyes.
Angela was about to bypass her and go back to her office when the elevator door slid open with a tinkle.
“What’s wrong?”
A cold male voice rang out.
Angela frowned and stopped in her tracks, mumbling, “You jerk!”
After that, she turned around and looked at the man. “Hi, Mr. Louise.”
“Pierre, I accidentally fell down. It has nothing to do with Angela.” Kimberly, who was on the floor, immediately replied.
Pierre glanced at her, then at Angela with a sneer. “Kimberly, you think she’ll appreciate it simply because you cover it up for her?”
He happened to see Angela pushing Kimberly. “This silly woman is still covering up for her sister. Doesn’t she know that excessive kindness will hurt her?” Pierre thought.
Angela immediately shot back, “Mr. Louise, you’re right.”
With that, she walked into the office in her high heels.
Her words made Pierre’s face even grimmer.
Hank hurried over to help Kimberly up and criticized Angela in his heart, “Miss Angela is a little too arrogant! Poor Miss Kimberly hasn’t figured out what’s going on yet.”
Kimberly was a little dissatisfied with Pierre’s indifference toward her.
She said, feeling quite wronged, “Pierre, my wrist seems to be sprained. It hurts.”
As she spoke, tears sprang to her eyes.
“Hank, ask someone to send Miss Simpson to the hospital.”
Kimberly was dumbfounded when she heard what he said.
“What did he mean?
“Pierre asked someone else to take me to the hospital. So, he didn’t come for me, but for that bitch, Angela?”
Thinking of this, Kimberly grew even angrier.

She grabbed him by the sleeve and said, “Pierre, won’t you go to the hospital with me? Are you here for my sister? I’m your girlfriend!”
Only then did Pierre turn to her. “My girlfriend?”
Kimberly shrank her neck in horror, and the look in her eyes became a little timid, but she still said, “Am I wrong? You said that I was your only girl.
“Pierre, five years ago, we… Have you forgotten?
“Pierre…” She wanted to say something more.
Hank kept winking at her. Kimberly chose the wrong time to complain.
Mr. Louise was in a bad mood now.
He was annoyed when he saw Angela leave the airport in Miss Stone’s car.
Therefore, he came straight to Gem instead of going back to Louise Group.
Although Hank had no idea why Mr. Louise was so angry, he still kindly reminded Kimberly. He didn’t want to see his boss vent his anger on her.
