Chapter 30
The Louise Mansion was particularly lively tonight.
It had been a long time since people last heard children’s laughter in this old house with a history of hundreds of years.
Megan, who played cards with her friends every day, did not go out because of the arrival of the kids.
She had given birth to two sons, so she especially liked girls. She was now holding Danielle and feeding her various kinds of snacks.
Danielle, the foodie, said flatteringly, “Grandma, you look so young. Can I call you Auntie?
“If you go shopping with Mommy, those people will think you two are sisters.”
Charlie seemed to be very interested in the members of the Louise family and was not as cold as before.
He kept asking Wilfred, “Grandpa, where are my uncles? Don’t they live here?”
Wilfred patiently explained, “They usually live in their own villas. But they will come back for dinner tonight.”
“Grandpa, will they return to their villas after dinner? Where are my sister and I staying tonight?”
The boy asked as if he was worried he wouldn’t have a place to stay at night.
Wilfred was amused.
He said with a smile, “I had your rooms prepared a long time ago. Do you want to have a look?”
Charlie nodded vigorously. He held Wilfred’s hand, raised his head, and said, “Grandpa, let’s go!”
Wilfred picked him up. This kid was his grandson. He wanted
to
give all his love to him.
He came to the second floor and stopped in front of a room. “Charlie, this is your room. That is your sister’s. Your grandma and my room are over there.”
As he spoke, he pushed open the door of the room.
The main color tone of the room was light blue. In addition to the furniture like the bed, desk, and wardrobe, there were also Lego toys, a tablet for kids, car models, and toy guns.
Clearly, the room was carefully arranged.
Wilfred looked at the boy in his arms and asked, “Charlie, do you like it?”
Charlie nodded and said, “Grandpa, I like it very much. I’ve never had my own Legos.”
He indeed liked the room. When he was abroad, he also played with Lego toys and could quickly piece the building blocks together. But because they were too expensive, he just rented them every time.
Their family never spent money recklessly.
Wilfred thought, “Is Angela so poor that she can’t even afford to buy Legos for the kids? I must make it up to my grandchildren!”
How could the Louise family leave their children short of money? What was the point of making money? It was so people could buy things they liked and live a more comfortable life.
Charlie looked at Wilfred and asked softly, “Grandpa, can I go have a look at my sister’s room?”
“Okay, let’s go!” Wilfred carried Charlie to the room next door.
The room was painted pink and decorated like a princess’s bedroom, which was indeed the style Danielle liked.
A question popped into Charlie’s mind. “Did Wilfred know we were coming and prepared all this?
“That’s impossible. We’ve only been back for a few days.” He analyzed it like Sherlock Holmes.
“Grandpa, the two rooms are both so beautiful. I’m sure my sister will like hers very much.“.
Wilfred squeezed Charlie’s chubby face happily. “I’m glad that you like it. If there’s anything you don’t like, just tell me. I’ll ask someone to change it for you?

“No need. Grandpa. Everything is good. You must have spent a lot of time and energy preparing the rooms, right?”
Charlie seemed to be asking casually, but his heart was racing faster,
Amused by him, Wilfred had been laughing heartily.
“It only took us two days. Those things are all finished products. Tell me if you want anything else. I’ll buy it for you,” he said, without giving it much thought.
Charlie had briefly figured it out, but he didn’t understand why his mother kept telling them that their scumbag father had abandoned them.
Their grandparents liked them so much that they looked as if they were willing to give them everything they
Could it be that their father didn’t want them, and their grandparents didn’t know about them back then?
Charlie snorted in his heart and continued, “Grandpa, where do my uncles live?”
had.
Wilfred immediately said, “Your uncles will stay upstairs. Pierre’s room is just above yours, while Leo’s is above your sister’s.
“We also prepared rooms for your great–grandparents. But as they usually live in the resort, their rooms are not in the same yard as ours.
“Your Grandma Miranda and her family live in the courtyard over there.”
Wilfred pointed to a place in the mansion.
Charlie bore it in mind. It seemed like there were a lot of people in the Louise family. He figured his scumbag father was very likely to be from that yard.
He tilted his head and asked, “Grandpa, who is Grandma Miranda? Is she your other wife?”
Wilfred blushed when he heard this. This kid’s way of thinking was so strange!
He patted Charlie on the butt and said, “Charlie, she’s my sister–in–law. Don’t give opinions about things you don’t know.”
Charlie stuck out his tongue mischievously. It was the first time he had heard about Miranda.
When they got downstairs, Pierre and Leo were already in the living room. Danielle was still munching on snacks.
Charlie glared at his sister and thought, “This silly girl is such a foodie! We can’t let go of such a good opportunity today.”
Danielle understood what Charlie meant. She jumped off Megan’s lap and ran to Pierre.
“Uncle, you’re so handsome! Can I sit next to you?” she said flatteringly.
Since he was a child, Pierre had often heard people praise him for being handsome, so he was indifferent and even a little resistant to it.
The main reason for his resistance was Angela. He figured that the scheming woman must have ulterior motives for letting the two children get
close to him.
“What the hell does she want? Money or the title of Mrs. Louise?” he wondered.
At this moment, Angela was having dinner with Chase.
She didn’t want to eat with Chase because they were not so familiar with each other. But Chase said that she had never treated him to dinner, so she
couldn’t find an excuse to turn him down.
Indeed, she had never treated Chase to dinner since she was saved, and it was Chase who paid the bill when they ate together last time.
But Angela didn’t expect him to take her to a restaurant for couples.
This made her a little embarrassed.
Chase put down the cutlery in his hand and looked at the woman in front of him with a burning gaze.
“Angie, I meant it when I said those words to Bill that day. Will you give me a chance?”
After a few drinks, he spoke as if he was a little bit drunk.
Sitting opposite him, Angela was puzzled. Chase talked a lot at Mr. Wilbur’s birthday party, and she didn’t pay much attention to it.
Now, she couldn’t figure out what he was referring to.
Chase’s heart skipped a beat when he saw the confusion in her beautiful eyes.

Chapter 30
This woman was so enchanting! She had a pure look on her face, but it made men reflexively want to sleep with her. She was a sexy woman with an ingenuous nature.
In particular, the dimples on the corners of her mouth were so cute that he couldn’t help but want to touch them.
Chase had slept with many women, but none of them made his heart flip like Angela did.
He had been wrestling with himself mentally in the past few days.
