Chapter 35
The next morning, Chase showed up again and brought a delicious breakfast for Angela.
He opened the package, and the smell of fruit salad filled the hospital room.
Angela had just finished freshening up in the bathroom when she caught a whiff of the delicious scent.
She wasn’t very hungry, but her stomach seemed to react to the aroma and made a rumbling noise.
“Angie, I knew you were hungry. Come and eat!” Chase said as he noticed her hunger.
Angela felt a bit awkward because she didn’t like to bother others. She had planned to go downstairs to buy breakfast, but she didn’t expect Chase to come so early.
Thank you, Mr. Louise,” Angela said.
But Chase’s hand stopped for a moment as he heard Angela’s words. He looked up and saw her standing in front of him, looking nervous and
uncomfortable.
bossy tone. “Sit down and let me feed you.”
“Angie, have you forgotten! Call me Chase, Chase said, correcting her in a bossy
Angela was stunned when she heard the last part of Chase’s sentence. Were they really that close? No, they weren’t!
She quickly said. “No, that’s okay, I can do it myself Mr. Lo… Chase.”
Chase looked at the blushing lady and felt like teasing her.

“Angie, you’re a patient.

Chase said as he fed Angela a bite of salad.
Angela’s face turned even redder, and she quickly reached out to grab the fork.
But Chase moved away and easily avoided her.
Angela was like a cute line bunny! Unfortunately, in this war, bunnies like her would only end up as prey
Chase lost interest in teasing her and put the bowl back on the table.
“Angle, I’ll stop
stop teasing you. Go ahead and eat. There’s also milk and bread here”
Angeli obediently sat down and raised her charming eyes, inviting Chase to join her.
“Ah… Chase, I can’t finish all of this by myself. Won’t you eat with me??
Chase smiled and sat down. “They say that having breakfast together is a special kind of fate. Angie, do you agree!”
Chase asked, his eyes lo

Angela quickly looked down a

Chase chuckled at Angela’s almost comical attempt to hide her face in her bowl.
He reached out and held her forehead, lifting her head up.
“Are you eating salad with your nose, Angie?” he asked.
Just as they were interacting. Dr. Lee arrived for rounds.
As soon as he saw Chase, he walked over and greeted him
“Hello, Mr. Louise:
Chase smiled and quickly glanced at his name tag, asking, “Dr. Lee, how is my friend doing?

Then he turned to Chase and said politely, “Mr. Louise, this young lady is good to go and can leave the hospital toslay, just make sure she enough rest and doesn’t overwork herself.
If you’re still concerned, she can stay one more day for observation”
Angela didn’t want to stay in the hospital any longer, even though it was a VIP ward. It wasn’t as comfortable as staying at home.
Angela looked at Chase with a pitiful expression and said. “Chase, I want to be discharged and go home.”
Hearing the sweet voice, Dr. Lee wished he could just vanish.
No wonder Mr. Louise liked this girl her voice was so pleasant to listen to. And the way she softly and pitifully begged, which man could resist!
As expected. Chase quickly agreed. “Okay, you’ll be discharged. But you must listen to the doctor’s advice and balance work and rest.”
Although Dr. Lee was inwardly grumbling about how hard it is for heroes to resist the lure of beauty, but he still escorted Angela through the discharge process and gave her a note to excuse her from work for a week.
Chase escorted Angela back to her villa and made sure she took the medicine prescribed by the doctor before leaving.
Carmine joined the stream of people Eowing out of Tervais International Airport,
People were coming and going in the plaza, but there wasn’t a single face he recognized.
He looked at his phone again, but still no calls or messages.
He also tried calling Angela’s phone, but it was still turned off
Carmine besitated for a long time in the plaza, but eventually decided to take a taxi to Gem Maybe he could see Angela there.
But when he
got to Gem, the receptionist told him that M. Simpson didn’t come to work today.
Carmine was completely clueless now
What should he do?
He wandered around the entrance of Gem like a lost soul until Chase showed up.
Chase came to deliver the doctors note of Angels to Gem. Everyone at Gem knew that Chase had a crush on Ms. Simpson.
So the receptionist kindly y told Chase about the man at the door.
The receptionist only told Chase because she knew Chase had a thing for Ms. Simpson and wanted to help him out. Otherwise, she wouldn’t have bothered to say a word.
Chase walked up to Carmine with a confident and graceful stride.
He locked eyes with the blond–haired, blue–eyed man who was almost as tall as him, and aske
asked, “I heard you’re looking for Angelar
Carmines eyes sparkled when he heard Angela’s name, and he asked in broken English, “Do you know Angela?” Chase chuckled, seeing another clueless and greenhorn guy.
1 don’t think there’s anyone in this building who doesn’t know Angela, Chase said.
Chaver made Carmine’s bright eyes dull.
“Can you tell me who you are! And why are you looking for her?” Chase asked
Chase’s words gave Casmine some hope.
- I am her brother. I came to see her
Carmine mumbled, looking down and avoiding Chase’s star
He had snuck out of his house and ran to Angela for help, but he didn’t know how to say it in English
“Don’t you have Angie’s phone number?”
Chase asked, his hands in his packers and his face blank
Chapter 15
This question seemed to be a seliet for Carmine, who replied, “Yes, I do. I called Angela many times, but her phone was always turned off”
Chase took out his own phone and dialed Angela’s mumber.
The cold voice told him, “The muber you dialed is turned off”
Chase seemed to have an idea and said to Carmine, “Wait for me here for a minute.
Then he walked back into Gem. When he came out again, he hail a small women’s purse in lus hand.

Carmine didn’t say anything, but just stared at Chase for ten seconds, then hung his head again.
Cluse continued. “Do you mind if I take a photo of you? I need to confirm your identity with Angie.”
This time, Carmine nodded eagerly. He didn’t care if Chase took a photo of him, or even beat him up. All he wanted was to see Angela.
Besides, this man in front of him, who kept calling Angela’s me, secuted to know her well.
Carmine didn’t even ask the man’s name or his relationship with Angela. He just followed him into a car.
On the way to the hotel, Chase asked Carmine, “You look like a foreigner, but Angie is from Darsonas. How do “My dad said that Angela’s mom is my aunt. So I know Angela Carmine replied.
o you know Angela?”
Chase was puzzled by his words, His research had shown that Angela’s mother had no brothers or sisters. He wondered where Carmine got t Mtory from.
It seemed that this little foreigner with a few screws loose didn’t know that.
After sending Cummine in a hotel, Cluse drove to Angela’s villa
