Angela watched as Carmine, with his checks stuffed like a chipmunk, took a big bite of his burger. She chuckled and warned him. “Slow down, you might choke”
Carmine, ignoring her advice, stuffed his mouth even more with the burger. He looked like a greedy chipmunk.
Then he timally turned his back to Angela and muttered something under his breath

Angela replied with a hint of disappointment. Without the two little ones by her side, she felt a bit lonely.
Carmine put down the suitcase he had just picked up and begged, “Angela, let’s pick them up and bring them home. It won’t hurt if they skip a day of kindergarten,”
