Chapter 100 Does He Dare to Divorce Me
She instinctively avoided Martha’s gaze.
“Ms. Patterson, do you know this woman?” Troy asked.
“I don’t know her!” Valerie quicidy distanced herself from Martha without hesitation.
Martha spoke up, “Why did you bring me here? I’m calling the police if you don’t explain yourself!”
Troy didn’t respond to Martha and turned his gaze to Jordan. He was standing there with a solemn expression.
“Mr. Ford, don’t you think these two look strikingly similar in some ways?”
Jordan’s expression turned increasingly serious as his gaze shifted between the two women as if he were comparing them. They did seem remarkably alike in certain features under closer inspection, especially their eyes and noses which looked almost like they had been carved from the same mold.
“What exactly is the relationship between you two?” His deep voice landed on Valerie’s heart like a heavy stone.
“I don’t know her!”
“I don’t know her!”
They both responded at the same time.
Could there truly be such a coincidence in this world?
Troy wouldn’t have brought the woman here without a reason,
“Jordan, I really don’t know her. Sabrina could be putting her up to this to drive a wedge between us. You can’t let yourself fall into her trap!”
“Hah!” Sabrina let out a soft and enigmatic laugh. “Ms. Patterson, are you sure you don’t know this woman?
“I’m very sure. I’m an orphan with no family. How would I know her? 1 understand you’re upset because Jordan divorced you for me, but don’t forget that your marriage was merely a deal from the beginning. You shouldn’t cover what isn’t yours.”
“There’s no need for your reminder, Ms. Patterson. I’m fully aware of my relationship with him. However, your endless lies truly are something to behold,” Sabrina said calmly.
Martha tried to leave but Troy blocked her path to prevent her from escaping.
“Mr. Ford, I swear I don’t know her! Don’t let anyone cloud your judgment!
The door busted open just as she spoke. A woman dressed in luurious clothes and flanked by two bodyguards entered the room. It was clear that she didn’t come with good intentions.
Martha instinctively stepped back and lowered her head as she tried to make herself less noticeable when she saw the woman.
The woman’s sharp gaze was eventually fixed on Martha. She stormed forward without a word and delivered two hard slaps to Martha’s face.
“You wretch! Did you think you could steal my man? Did you think I couldn’t find you just because Leigh hid you?”
Martha was stunned by the blows. She felt humiliated and speechless.

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” She shifted her gaze nervously to avoid eye contact. Her reaction had betrayed her guilt and fear of the w her.
“Do you think I wouldn’t find out just because you refuse to admit it?”
Melanie sneered, “I wondered why Leigh kept sneaking out. It turns out that be went out for garbage. Let me warn you, I’ll scar that pretty face of yours if you ever try to seduce him again. Let’s see what you’re left with to seduce him then.”
She threw a stack of photos at Martha’s face. The pictures scattered to the ground as they revealed the intimate moments between Leigh and Martha Martha’s face turned pale. Her expression was of utter devastation. She couldn’t believe that she had to go through humiliation like this after all these enduring in silence as Leigh’s mistress despite being his first love and the one who met him before Melanie.

“Melanie, Leigh and I truly love each other. I met him before you did. We were each other’s first love. I would’ve been the one who married him if it weren’t for you.
“Ha! How shameless of you! Why does it matter if you love each other? Leigh married me to secure his future. I’m legally his wife. I’m the one he matted in the public eye. You’re nothing but the bitch who seduces other men.”
Melanie speeted, “Do you think he would dare to divorce me?”
