Chapter 107
“I… don’t…” Yara murmured.
“Steven, how about switching to someone else? We’re here to have fun, but look at her, she’s acting like a guest,” Noel said.
“It’s fine, I like this type,” Steven replied.
Nearby, Kimberly took the initiative to choose songs, pour drinks, and make toasts. As a professional hostess, she even fed Steven snacks and fruit.
She was warm and attentive, teasing Steven’s sensitive areas with small gestures. Her eyes occasionally shot him flirtatious glances.
As one of the top hostesses, she was indeed impeccable.
Steven was no saint either. He found it quite amusing on his first visit to such a place.
Noel, being more experienced, was even more skilled. His one hand was inside a hostess‘ dress, fondling her while singing with a microphone.
“Yara, pour Steven a drink. What are you sitting there for?” Kimberly chided.
“Never mind, don’t force her. Let her sit there,” Steven said.
Kimberly secretly wondered about this man. They spent money paying for Yara, but then let her sit doing nothing. That was unlike a customer’s behavior.
Customers at Joy Club were either rich or influential, and most had bad tempers, making them difficult to serve.
With Yara’s attitude, a more demanding customer would have likely slapped her already.
After singing for a while, they started playing various erotic games. Only Yara sat alone on the couch, not participating. Steven didn’t seem angry and completely ignored her.
Even Noel couldn’t help but ask Steven what was going on and if he wanted to switch hostesses. But Steven insisted on keeping Yara.
Yasmine hesitated in the hallway after exiting the elevator at the Joy Hotel above Joy Club.
Then, she received a message on her phone. She glanced at it before putting her phone in her bag. Approaching one of the presidential suites, she used a key card to open the room door.
“What took you so long? I’ve been waiting forever,” said David, wearing a robe and smoking a cigar.
A bottle of red wine and a gorgeous bouquet sat on the coffee table before him.
“I… I ran into some things on the way. I got delayed,” Yasmine said anxiously, wringing her hands.
“Well, you’re here now. Do you like the flowers I got you?” David stubbed out his cigar and picked up the bouquet to bring over.
“I… I like them,” Yasmine said unconvincingly.
“There’s a surprise in the flowers too,” David said.
Yasmine found a small box hidden among the blooms. Opening it revealed an expensive–looking diamond necklace.
“This blue diamond necklace cost me over two million dollars. I think it would look stunning on you and suit you well. Here, let me help you put it on.” David took out the necklace.
The diamonds on it glistened with a brilliant blue radiance.
What woman could resist such sparkle?
Indeed the necklace was worth over two million. But David didn’t buy this necklace specifically for Yasmine. It was something he gave to each of his secretaries.
Once he was tired of them, he would pay them off and reclaim the necklace.
Yasmine wasn’t its first owner, nor would she be its last.
