Gerald and Jace, who were boasting just now, finally snapped back to reality. They looked dreadful. They couldn’t believe that Steven defeated Adam with a single blow.
Steven asked, “Do you have any other experts here?”

Steven smirked. “David? Isn’t he in the hospital receiving emergency treatment?”
Adam was shocked. “How did you know that?”
“Because I was the one who injured him.” Steven’s words left them stunned again.
David wasn’t someone to mess with. He’d been around in Levix City for over a decade and was known for his ruthlessness. Also, he had the backing of Kai, one of the four grandmasters.
The entire Srigui District was under the control of the Collins Family. Therefore, it was often referred to as Collins District. David was just a pawn of the Collins family.
The madams and hostesses at Joy Club were particularly afraid of David because he was an influential figure.

Noel was stunned and rendered speechless. He couldn’t believe that Steven injured David when he went to the restroom just now. And now David was hospitalized for emergency treatment.
Adam asked, “You were the one who injured Mr. Wells?”
Steven said, “That’s right! So, you trying to use David to threaten me is just ridiculous.”
Adam’s lips twitched. He asked, “Do you know who’s behind Mr. Wells?”
Steven replied, “One of the four grandmasters–Kai Collins, right?”
Adam asked, “Since you’re aware of it, why don’t you surrender? Do you know the consequences of offending a grandmaster?”
Steven smirked. He said with disdain, “David’s just a lackey for the Collins Family. Stop exaggerating. What’s the big deal about beating up a nobody? I also beat Kai’s son, Wesley. So what?”
Steven’s words once again shocked everyone. They couldn’t believe that he dared to harm the son of a grandmaster. He was totally out of his mind! How did he dare?
Jace didn’t believe it. He couldn’t help but question, “Steven, keep boasting! If you really injured Wesley, do you think you’d still be alive and standing here? Who the hell would believe you?”
Steven didn’t bother to explain further. “It’s up to you. Jace, you better think about whether you want to crawl out of here or be carried out.”
“I… you…” Jace’s expression turned extremely sour. He initially wanted to humiliate Steven and Noel. But it backfired, and he ended up embarrassing himself.
