Chapter 27 The Medical Check–Up Is Normal

Hersilence toward Jordan was a tacit concession. The darkness instantly grew as cold as a frozen lake, leaving no warmth behind. He slipped one hand into his pocket and sneered.
Sabrina, have you ever really loved me?“.
She had professed her love for him, only to vanish without a trace after signing the divorce papers and moving on to a new beytciend.

Watching his retreating figure, Sabrina opened her mouth to speak but said nothing in the end.
It didn’t matter anymore. Her divorce from jordan was finalized, and dwelling on it was pointless
Troy asked in concem, “Why did it take so long?” He was about to look for her when he saw her retum.
Sabrina tossed her hair over her shoulder and casually replied, “I ran into my ex–husband, and we chatted for abir,”
Troy didn’t answer her. She glanced around the lobby but didn’t ser jonlan, so she casually looked away
“Let’s go,” she said
Acarpalled up in front of them as they stepped out of the restaurant
Aman exited the car and approached Sabrina with a respectful bow. “Madam, my name is Liam Mrs. Ford sent me to pick you up for your medical check–up”
Sabrina leer Liam, Selena’s trusted confidant and the Ford family butler. He’d been in Evercrest City taking care of Selena but had returned with her this time.
“Madam, please get in,” Liam said witle opening the back door forber
Sabrina steeled herself and tuned to Troy “Go to the hospital flest. We can discuss the rest over the phone.”
Troy nodded and drove away.
“Where’s Jordan?” Sabrina tumed to Lam and asked
“Mr. Ford is in the car
The man was dressed in a black sult, and the tinted windows darkened the interior. He sat silently with his eyes closed, blending seamlessly into the darkness. If she hadn’t looked inside earlier, she wouldn’t have malized he was there
“Madam please, Llam reminded her again
With a sigh, Sabrine got into the car. Neither of them spoke a wned as the car drove on. They arrived at the hospital and went to their respective departments for their check–ups.
Jordan matained a grim expression throughout the entire process, and his jaw was clenched tightly. Being questioned by his mother about his virility was a linge insult and a public humiliation he couldn’t endure
Half an hour later, Liam resumed to Selena with the medical reports. Both of them were in excellent health, even better than the average person. Sabrina in particular was exceptionally fertile.
Upon seeing the results, Selena immediately started a videa call with Mrs. Food senior.
When Mrs. Ford senior heard the news, her face lit up with a broad smile. “So why haven’t they conceived in three years?” she asked. “Could it be that the young couple is using contraception?”
Lasked them about it, and they said no.”
“Then what’s going on? if there’s no physical problem and they haven’t conceived, they must be lying to you!”
Unable to sit still, the older womanexclaimed, “I have to go back! My husband passed away without seeing Jordan’s children. How can I face him in the afterlife if T don’t see them too?
Mrs. Ford Senior had always been decisive and energetic. Once she made up her mind, no one could change it. After decades of being married into the family, Selena knew her mother–in–law’s character well and could only concede
“I’ll have a book your flight ticket for you.”
