Chapter 36 The Girl of My Dreams
Ethan left the private room without a word and then peeked back in. “What’s your relationship with Jordan?”
Upon hearing that name, Troy subconsciously looked back at Sabrina. However, she simply lifted her gaze indifferently and said, “This is the first time I’ve heard of whoever that is.”
Victor saw him come back alone and looked behind him. “Where is she?” he asked.
“Where’s Jordan’s ex–wife? Victor, you’re always teasing me!”
Ethan’s gaze settled on Jordan. “Guess who I just saw next door? It’s the same woman we spotted at
Regal Heights last time! I can’t believe she’s here with her boyfriend today, what a coincidence, right?
“You know what they say–third time’s the charm. If I see her again, I don’t care if she has a boyfriend or not. I’m going to make my move!
“Hey, why are you looking at me like that!?”
Sensing the coldness in Jordan’s eyes, Ethan was completely battled.
“Well, they’re just dating, not married. I have the right to pursue her, don’t I?”
Victor found something increasingly off about this. He had just heard that Sabrina was next door, and now Ethan was spouting all sorts of nonsense.
“You told me you met a girl who made your heart skip a beat, described her as a heavenly beauty, and she’s just right next door?”
Ethan nodded.
“I’ll go take a look.” Without waiting for Ethan to reply, Victor got up and went straight to the room next
door
Victor pushed open the door. Sabrina, Troy, and Zayn were talking when they were suddenly interrupted and all tumed to look Three pairs of eyes stared at him at

After he left, Troy frowned, “I have a feeling he did it on purpose.
One after another, they were all heading to their private room. Could they all be after Sabrina?
“I know him,” Sabrina casually recalled the man who had come earlier to ask about her relationship with Jordan. It wasn’t hard to guess that be, Jordan, and Victor were probably friends.
The irony was that, after three years of marriage to Jordan, she had never been introduced to his social circle. The only person she knew was Victor
Victor returned to the private room and pointed to the next one. “Erhan, did you go into the room on the left?”
“Yeah. The right side is just a wall, I can’t exactly walk through walls, can 17″
“Do you know who that woman next door is?”
She’s the girl of my dreams!”
Victor was speechless. This guy really had some nerve. Victor secretly glanced at Jordan, whose expression was as cold and indifferent as if no one else was around.
“Ahem, didn’t you ask her?”
“I did.”
“How did you ask? Tell me exactly,”
“I asked her if she was Jordan’s ex–wife, and she said she didn’t know him!”
Ethan shrugged and took a sip of his drink. Could it be that his old man treated her like a treasure? The alcohol bumed its way down his throat, leaving a distinct
aftertaste.
The temperature in the private room dropped noticeably as if it were in early spring.
Ethan finished his drink and said, “It’s almost summer, but it feels so cold in here.”
After a few years abroad, Victor realized he still hadn’t learned to read the room. He was dancing dangerously close to the edge.
Out of kindness, he leaned in and whispered something in Ethan’s ear. His words startled Ethan so much that he spilled the drink he was pouring
He looked up sharply. “She’s your ex–wife?”
Jordan’s lips tightened as he lit a cigarette and took a drag. “Is there a problem?”
“No! It’s just…you’r willing to divorce someone like her?” Ethan was lett speechless.
He couldn’t quite wrap his head around it. He had finally found a woman he liked, only to discover she was his best friend’s ex–wife! All the things he’d said to Jordan before were just jokes, weren’t they?
He looked puzzled, “Why didn’t you tell me? And
wife already has a boyfriend. Doesn’t that bother you at all?”
