Chapter 54 Who Did This
When Sabrina woke up, the sun was setting. The sky was filled with an orange glow, and it was just breathtaking. Little did she know, she’d gone viral while she was asleep.
Her phone buzzed upon receiving a notification alert that read, “The Hottest Female Doctor and Youngest Medical Genius: Year’s Best Crush Revealed,”
gabrina skimmed the headline and shrugged it off. After freshening up, she made her way downstairs.
Upon hearing the noise, Zayn immediately shot up from the couch. “Have you opened up your Twitter, Sabrina?”
“Nope. Did something happen?” Sabrina poured herself a glass of water and tooka sip. She enjoyed the refreshing feeling as lier thirst was quenclied, “What’s for dinner tonight?”
“How about you check your Twitter first?
Zayn reluctantly handed the iPad to Sabrina. She narrowed her eyes and glared at him. “What kind of shenanigans are you two up to?”
Upon seeing the online posts, Sabrina frowned and asked, “Who did this?”
Since her doctorate certificate and surgery footage had been exposed, the perpetrator had to be someone close to her.
Zayn pointed his chin toward Amanda. Meanwhile, Amanda was sneaking up the stairs. As soon as she stepped onto the first step, a chilling and stem voice rang out from behind her. “Get over here.”
Amanda stopped in her tracks and turned around with teary eyes, “I couldn’t bear to see people slandering you and misunderstanding you, so I can’t hold back anymore, Brina. You’re not mad at me, right?”
Amanda slowly walked over to Sabrina. “You’re so amazing, Brina. Your doctorate certificate from a top college isn’t something to be ashamed of. Show them what you’re capable of and stop them from saying bad things about you again.”
“Since you’re staying at my place, 1 need to set the ground rules, Amarxla. You’re not allowed to meddle in my affairs.”
Amanda repeatedly nodded in a well–behaved manner. She soothed with a sweet voice, “Just this once. There won’t be a next time. You’ve to trust me, Brina. You’re no longer upset with me, right?”
Amanda blinked, looking adorable and innocent.
At first, Amanda’s innocent and harmless look won Sabrina over as Sabrina brought her home from the orphanage. But underneath the sweet facade, she wasn’t as harmless as she seemed still, as long as she didn’t get petty with Sabrina, Sabrina would let things slide.
The post was published at 3:00 p.m., and it was already 5:30pm, now. So, it had been two and a half hours. jordan had most likely seen it. Even if Sabrina were to delete the post, it was already too late. Fine then. It wasn’t a big deal.
“Let’s eat.”
After dinner, Zayn took Amanda to the room to rest. Just as Sabrina was about to stretch, her phone started ringing, and the screen showed that Jordan was calling. She didn’t answer the call. As she walked slowly on the treadmill, she watched a show about raiding a tomb to kill time.
Jordan looked at the call not being answered and tried calling again, but no one picked up. Frowning, he entered a residential area without saying a word, and Adrian trailed behind him.
When they got to Sabrina’s address, Adrian went up and knocked on the door. A middle–aged man in his 50s opened the door.
“Who are you looking for?”
“Sabrina.”
“Who’s Sabrina? You must have the wrong address. I live here alone, and I don’t know anyone by that name. Try somewhere else.” After saying that, the middle- aged man slammed the door shut
Adrian said, “Mrs. Ford has provided a false address, Mr. Ford.”
Jordan’s eyes darkened. Nothing about Sabrina was the truth. She refused to pick up her phone, and the address she gave was fake. The good–for–nothing Adrian couldn’t locate her as well
The only option left was to visit Heartland Hospital, where she had to be.
After digesting the e food and sweating a little, Sabrina felt refreshed and energized. Noticing that Troy had called, Sabrina picked it up and walked to the window. “Try”
“Where are you?”
Upon hearing the deep and captivating voice, Sabrina felt her heart skip a beat.
Chapter 55 Are You Really Sabrina
“Why are you calling from this number, Mr. Ford?” Sabrina asked.
“You’re ignoring my calls, and the address you gave me was wrong. So, I ended up having to find your boyfriend.”
Troy was lett speechless. He had just happened to be on duty when Jordan suddenly came in and snatched his phone to call Sabrina..
He wanted to stop Jordan, but he was outmatched. Seeing Adrian standing at the door and keeping an eye on him, he felt pretty exasperated.
“I’m busy, and I don’t have the time to meet you right now, Mr. Food. How about we talk about it tomorrow?”
“Send me your address, and I’ll come find you.”
“It’s not really a good time. I’m already getting ready for bed in my pajamas. We’re picking up Grandma at the airport tomorrow, right? Let’s talk about it then.”
Sabrina intentionally yawned and added, “I’m off to bed now. Goodnight.”
She hung up on him before he could even get a word in, Jordan felt his blood boiling. It looked like Sabrina had gotten used to hanging up on him. During their previous calls, she’d never hang up first if he didn’t.
He turned around and fixed his intense gaze on Troy. “How familiar are you with Sabrina?”
“You’re her ex–husband, so you probably low her better than me, the current boyfriend, right? If you’re asking me, who else could I tum to?”
Troy walked over and grabbed his phone before telling Jordan to leave. “If there’s nothing else, get out of here and stop bothering me when I’m working.”
“Let me set the record snaight. We’re not divorced yet, Mr. Walker. Your actions are crossing the line. I wonder how the people of the neurosurgery department would view you if they leamed about this.”
“It’s better than someone who always thinks that the grass is always greener on the other side.”
Sabrina had even told Troy about this. It looked like they were pretty close to each other.
A hint of chill crossed jordan’s expression. He glared at Troy and warned, “Stay out of my business,”
The next day, Sabrina had to visit the airport. She was dressed elegantly in a beige dress and a black last jacket. She had a white hairpin holding up her long black
With her elegant makeup and refined demeanor, she drew a lot of attention in the airport, and a confident guy tried to approach her.
“Mrs. Ford is over there, Mr. Ford.” Not far away, Adrian spotted Sabrina and immediately informed Jordan,
Upon hearing that, Jordan turned and looked over.
A guy in a jacket stood in Sabrina’s way and asked for her number. With a disapproving frown, Jordan walked over and wrapped his arm around her. Then, he coldly glared at the guy.
Most men couldn’t handle Jordan’s commanding presence due to his height.
Noticing how close they were, the guy figured out their relationship and awkwardly walked away with frustration.
Jordan lowered his head to gaze at Sabrina’s delicate face and nonchalantly remarked, “You’re drawing all sorts of admirers just by picking someone airport, Mrs. Ford.”

“I can’t help it. I’m
‘m too attractive for arrun
for anyone to resist.” Sabrina moved Jordan’s arm away from her shoulder with a defiant glint in her eyes. “Not everyone is like you, Mr. Ford, who can’t appreciate true worth.”
Did Sabrina just mock Jordan for not knowing how to appreciate the true gem?
Jordan furrowed his brows but didn’t argue with her. He scrutinized Sabrina and asked, “Is Sabrina Tucker your real name?”
Adrian had stayed up all night to dig up all the info:
A student named Briana studied at Willow Creek College too. She completed all her medical courses in one year and aced every exam. The people in the college crowned her a legend.
But here she was, right in front of him. She had lived with him for three years, and he had no idea
