Chapter 70 Does Jordan Really Love You
Adrian Felt utterly defeated, as though he was on the verge of tears.
“Mrs. Ford seems to be deliberating hiding her address, Mr. Ford. I had someone tall Zayn, but he noticed them and shook them off.”
After reporting in, Adrian realized he had mistakenly addressed Sabrina as “Mrs. Ford” and hurriedly corrected his slip–up. “I meant Ms. Tucker,” Sabrinadidn’t ask for a dime after their divorce. Things also happened at the Ford residence because of Linda’s scheme.

They were married for three years, and Sabrina had never asked for anything. So, Jordan felt a little guilty and wanted to compensate her.

“Mrs. Ford,” Adrian respectfully greeted.
“Get out of here.” With a darkexpression, Selena gazed at jordan behind the desk
Adrian bolted out of the place, hoping to steer clear of any fallout.
“Did you have an affair, Jordan?”

“Out the crap and just answer my question.”
After a quick explanation, Selens finally got the picture.
“Why didn’t you introduce Valecie to us three years ago? We’ve all accepted that Sabrina was part of our family, and now you’re pulling this stunt.
“How can you divorce her just like that? And you just bring Valerie to us without a care. Please think about our feelings.
“Mom is so upset that she didn’t eat yesterday. Right now, she’s still lying in the bed.”
Selena tossed her bag on the couch and solemnly said, “You slept with Sabrina just the day before yesterday, and then you divorced her yesterday. As a man, isn’t that a bit irresponsible for you?”
“You all know best how I ended up sleeping with Sabrina.”
When it came to this, Selena couldn’t help but feel she was partly to blame.
“Mom made the call. You know I can’t go against her. Besides, it was all for the sake of having ldds. You’ve been married to Sabrina for three years. It’s about time you had a child.”
But Selena never expected things to tum out like this. What happened really threw her for a loop.
“Look into my eyes and tell me, do you love Valerie, Jordan? Selena seriously asked.
Jordan frowned. “It’s my responsibility.”
“You can make things right without ruining your marriage. I’ll take care of it for you. I’ll pay her off and get rid of her before it’s too late.”
“I’ve given my word, and we’ll have a simple engagement party next month.”
“Are you serious?” Selena knew Jordan had a plan in his mind, but she didn’t expect him to be so determined. Despite Linda’s protests, he still planned to many
Valene.
“Give it some time, Mom. Grandma will come to accept it eventually.”
On her way home, selena dropped by the hospital. she figured she should meet Valerie, the culprit of Jordan’s divorce. Apart from her curiosity, she was hoping she could talk Valerie into breaking up with him. With that, she might smooth things over with Linda.
Inside the ward, selena silently sized up Valerie, who was lying in the bed. “You’re a lot more plain than I imagined.”
“I understand you and Mrs. Ford Senior don’t think much of me, Mrs. Ford, but Jordan and I have been together for three years, and we really love each other. I hope you can give us your blessing,” Valerie pleaded humbly.
Her voice was so sweet and gentle, loolding incredibly delicate.
“There are plenty of love stories around. What makes you so sure that Jordan is in love with you?”
The tough question lett Valerie dumbstruck, and she nervously folded her fingers. “Jordan definitely loves me.”
