When Emily was done with a chapter, Linda had fallen asleep. Emily called out to Linda and noticed that she didn’t respond. Emily put a blanket over Linda in case she caught a cold.
Emily walked to the window and looked in the direction of the main entrance. She saw that Valerie was still kneeling outside. Valerie looked frail, as if she was
about to collapse.
So, Emily called Sabrina.
Sabrina finally had some time to test when she received Emily’s call.

*Sabrina, Valerie came to visit, and Grandma refused to see her. She’s been kneeling outside but it’s raining out there. I don’t know what to do!!!

Sabrina said, “Emily, you should call your brother. If anything goes wrong with Valerie, your brother will be angry at Grandma. That would be in Valerie’s favor, wouldn’t it?

It was evident that Valerie had tried to gain Linda’s pity at the Ford residence. But Linda was not one to be messed with! Linda had experienced a lot in life, and she would not fall for tricks like that easily.
Undoubtedly, Valerie was putting it upon herself.
Sabrina looked at the pouring rain outside and narrowed her eyes thoughtfully. She wondered if Valerie was trying to gain Jordan’s pity instead.
“Emily, who were you on the phone with Linda suddenly asked…
Emily, who was malding a call, paused. She hurriedly walked over to Linda and answered, “Sabrina”
“She said she’s busy, and that she’ll call me when she’s fee,”
Linda nodded and said, “Help me upstairs. I’m going to sleep.”
As Emily helped Linda upstairs, she said, “Grandma, Valerie is still outside. Should I call Jordan?”
“Don’t! Whatever her objectives are, let her kneel outside. She likes lineeling, right? Let her enjoy it. If she can’t hold out anymore, she will call jordan herself. If she collapses, just call the ambulance!”

The housekeeper tasked to take care of Valerie called Jordan immediately, When Jordan arrived, valerie was on IV drips. She was unconscious and had a high fever
“What happened?”
The housekeeper shook her head and said, “Ms. Patterson went out in the morning. The ambulance sent her home past noon. I’m not sure where she went before that”
Adrian walked in and whispered something in Jordan’s ear jordan frowned, then went outside with his phone
“You have no idea how annoying she was, Jordan, Grandma already said she wasn’t going to meet her, but she insisted on kneeling outside the door. She said she won’t leave until she meets Grandma. But Grandma won’t give in” Emily complained.
“Jordan, don’t get tricked by her pitiful looks. Because of her. Grandma hasn’t been eating well over the past few days. I think she’s doing that on purpose. She trying to make Grandma angry!” she added.
