Chapter 9 The Diagnosis
Zayn unbuckled his seatbelt, “A car hit us from behind stay in the car and wait for me!
A moment later, the sound of an argument could be heard o
Loutside.
“What do you want from me?“!
“An apology! Can you manage that?“|||
“Why should I apologize? I already said it wasn’t intentional. You’re a grown man, yet you’re arguing with a young girl like me. Does that make sense?”
Zayn pressed his tongue against his cheek and let out a laugh at her audacity. “Do you want to find out if I’m a man?”
“You you. You’re shameless!”
sabrina thought the voice sounded familiar. She instinctively glanced out the window and realized that the woman who had rear–ended their car was jordan’s younger sister, Emily.
Her eyebrows knitted together as she started to call zayn, wanting to remind him to wrap things up quickly. But then, she saw a black Bentley pull up and park by the curb. Moments later, Jordan and Adrian stepped out and walked over in Emily
“What’s going on?” Jordan’s voice was low and commanding.
Zayn’s heart skipped a beat as he saw them.
“Jordan, I already told him it wasn’t on purpose, but he won’t li

let it go. He’s talking about compensation and how the car will depreciate. Who does that? Emily
“Are you hurt?” Jordan asked while looking down at her. Emily shookherhead, “Adrian, handle it. Whether it’s assessing the damage or compensation, cooperate fully,”
Adrian nodded and turned to Zayn. “Sir, would you prefer to settle this privately or handle it through the formal procedures?
Zayn instinctively glanced at the car. He could almost sense Sabrina’s silent response even though he couldn’t see amthing through the tinted windows
“Let’s settle it privately,” Zayndecided.
He soon received a check for to thousand dollars. Zayn narrowed his eyes and focused on Emily, who was hiding behind jordan.
“You’d better keep an eye on your sister. If she’s such a menace on the road, it’d be better to keep her off it.” With that, he swiftly got back into the car and drove
Tmily became angry while watching the car disappear into the distance. “Who are you calling a menace on the road? Your whole family is full of menaces!”
She turned to face jordan’s stern gaze and shrankback slightly.
“Just got your driver’s license, and you’re already causing trouble on the road? Aren’t you afraid of killing someone?” he asked coldly.
“Jordan, it was just an accident,” she defended herself.
“Accidentally mistaking the brake for the gas pedal?”
“I didn’t mean to,” ” she said while pointing to her chest. “I already feel terrible al
about it. Please don’t tell Mom, or she ll never let me drive again!”
She clasped her hands together as she pleaded, “Please don’t tell bed”
Seeing that he wasn’t swayed, she resorted to threats “If you don’t agree, I’ll go tell Sabrina on you!!
The mention of that heartless woman made Jordan’s expression tum even colder. “Go home and reflect on your actions. I’ll pretend this never happened.”
Emily immediately smiled and followed him into the car.
“What do you want?” Jordan asked as she got in
“I have plans with friends. Can you give me a ride?” she asked sweetly.
Jordan was speechless.
“I haven’t seen Sabrina in a long time. Mom said you should bring her home for dinner this weekend.”
Jordan stopped his movement of twisting open a bottle of water. “Location”
During the journey, Emily chattered endlessly. When they finally reached the destination, jordan pushed her out of the cat and sped off.
He tugged at histie, lit a cigarette, and made a call, “Are you buy?”
The person on the other end sounded surprised. “You have time to call me
need you to find someone for me,” jantan said, cutting straight to the point.
“Who?”
“Sabrina.”
The person paused again. “Are you asking me to look for your wife?”
Exhaling a pull of smoke, Jordan’s Impatience showed. “Just take the money and do your job. Why so many questions?” Then, he hung up and tossed the phone onto the passenger seat.
Zayn dropped Sabrina off at her home and handed her a makeup ldr from the trunk.
Sabrina didn’t ask for details. “Be careful.”
“Got it.”
Back in her villa, Sabrina opened the makeup kit to check that everything was in order. Zam had done his job well, so she felt at ease.

For the next two days, she barely left the house and spent her time either sleeping or recharging herself. Though she kept a low profile, word of her treating Marilyn from the Rowland family in Homsey spread like wildfire.
Many people were trying to track her down, hoping to secure her medical expertise, but all attempts to find her failed. Some even offered hetty sums on the dark web, hoping to lure her out.
But with 50 billion dollars on the line, those offers meant nothing to Sabrina. Besides, she wasn’t some traveling doctor treating every difficult case that came het
way.
On Wednesday morning, Zayn returned with an injury.
“What happened?” Sabrina asked after noticing his condition
Zayn gave her a slight smile. “I fell into a trap, but I got out okay.”
“Is it serious?”
It’s nothing”
“You should stay home and rest today. I’ll go by myself,” she said while pulling out her makeup kit to start her disguise.
“No way. When have I ever let you go alone?” Zayn protested
“Jordan saw you when Emily hit your car last time. If you show up there, it might raise his suspicions and lead him to me. I can’t risk being exposed Zayn scowled. “It I’d own, I wouldn’t have wasted time arguing with her ”
Sabrina smiled. “Don’t worry, I’ll be quick I’ll play it by ear.”
still uneasy, Zayn offered, “At least let me drive you there and wait outside. Upon seeing her glance his way, he fixed his arm. “I’m fine to drive.” “Alright”
In no time, the youthful beauty had transformed into an unremarkable middle–aged woman.
Grace Garden Estate was a renowned theater in Homsey. The elites often visited it to have tea and watch the opera.
Sabrina entered through the back door, where the manager who had been waiting greeted her with a smile. “Boss, you’re here!
