Chapter 91 Has the Thing Arrived
Jordan casually withdrew his gaze without doubting her explanation
“Jordan, have Mrs. Ford Senior and the others arrived?”
“No, they haven’t.”
Valerie bit her lip and lowered her gaze with a look of disappointment.
“Their absence won’t affect the proceedings today,” Jordan reassured her. He knew that she would feel aggrieved on this matter.
“okay, I’ll try my best to be a better person for Mrs. Ford Senior in the future. 1 believe that even the hardest of hearts can be sottened with sincerity. She’ll eventually accept me when she sees my genuine intentions.”
“Thank you for your effort.”
“It’s nothing as long as I can be with you.”
A smile of happiness spread across Valerie’s face. Although today was not their official wedding day, she was still pleased because she had just taken another step closer to her goal.
She walked into the main hall with her arms wrapped around Jordan’s. The flash of cameras lit up the room as she unveiled the perfect smile she had practiced for a long time. She was determined to be the most stunning woman of the night
She stood confidently beside jordan and was in the same league as him
She glanced around and didn’t see Sabrina. Her red lips slightly curled into a smile.
Sabrina must’ve been too scared to come.
She was probably hiding somewhere and crying her eyes out.
Meanwhile, Sabrina, Anna, and Zayn were sitting in front of the television in the villa
Sabrina had hacked into the hotel’s surveillance system just a moment ago
The hotel’s livestream was played on the screen
Jordan was dressed Impeccably in a tailored suit and exided an air of refined elegance. His tall and commanding presence was complemented by his sharp and striking features which embodied a rare nobility
Valerie wore a stunning and fitting red gown. The vibrant color accentuated her fair skin and delicate beauty. She appeared even more petite and charming as she stood beside the tall men with a graceful smile.
Anna munched on the chips and crunched loudly as she commented mercilessly. “That woman is nothing compared to you, Sabrina. Look at her being all sweet Innocent. So fake and pretentious. I can’t for the life of me understand how someone like her could ever outshine you.”
Zayn frowned. “past eat your chips if you can’t say anything droit.”
Anna responded, “Why are you so harsh on me? I’m just feeling upset for Sabrina,”
Zayn replied, “He’s just a blind fool who isn’t worth Sabrina’s time. There are plenty of men who will line up from Hornsey to Parevanta for a chance with her.”
Sabrina was speechless. She felt that it was a bit of an exaggeration. She didn’t think that she had that land of charm in herself.
Land
She tumed up the volume. Her eyes were fixed on the livestream of the engagement ceremony. She was filled with a mischievous curiosity, as if she was waiting for a drama to unfold
“Has the thing arrived?”
Zayn replied, “There’s nothing to worry about. Everything’s been arranged perfectly.”
Anna looked confused. “What did you arrange?”
Zayn grinned. “Just wait and see.”
Those with keen eyes couldn’t help but notice something unusual at Jordan’s engagement ceremony today.
None of Jordan’s immediate family members were present.
The guests whispered among themselves as they saw that the main seats temained conspicuously empty. “Neither Mcs. Ford Senior nor Mrs. Ford showed up Could they possibly not approve of this marriage?”
“I’ve heard that Valerie is an oqlan with no background and proper education. How could Mrs. Ford Senior possibly approve of someone like that? She probably dislikes her in every way. Who knows what land of tricks she used to seduce Mr. Food? She must be truly crafty,”
“They said she had been abroad for medical treatment and only recently returned, Mrs. Ford Senior has always expected a baby to join their family. Who knows if she can live up to her expectations with her frail condition”
Although the manamurs weren’t loud, Valerie could still catch snippets of the gossip. Her grip on jordan’s ann tightened slightly.
The mee in the stage at that moment to begin the engagement ceremony.
