Chapter 15: Start Slapping Yourself
Doctor Maxwell was taken aback and he made to scold William when one of the doctors whispered, “Her face. It’s clean now”
They ignored William and moved together to Amelia’s bed.
Ava’s face was full of tears as she watched her sister sleeping soundly while holding her hand in hers.
Her breathing was stable and her face was bright as the sun.
She was completely healed now.
The Doctors took turns checking Amelia for any sign of poison and they were shocked to realize that she was fine.
“If you touch my sister again, I’ll break your fingers” Ava snapped at them and they quickly retreated from Amelia.
Doctor Maxwell looked at William and he couldn’t lift his head anymore..
He was embarrassed.
Who was this man exactly?
How exactly did he manage to extract an unknown poison from the vital organs of the young lady?
In all of his years of experience, it would take a while to successfully drain poison out of a patient and sometimes, the contaminated blood had to drain
too.
But this man extracted the poison in less than five minutes and the patient looked very healthy.
Even the best doctor in the country would not be able to operate on a patient that quickly.
Moreover, he didn’t even operate.
All he had was silver needles.
Now he realized how great the person in front of him was and that he could not be compared to him.

This person was definitely a great figure in the medical world.

Maxwell forced a laugh, “You’re too modest, Great Doctor. Hurry up and apologize for talking nonsense just now”
He turned to the other Doctors who were still in shock.
Maxwell, the chief medical officer was a proud man who only bowed his head to prominent people in society but today, he is respectful to this person.
The Doctors didn’t have a choice and quickly apologized to William.
“Forgive us for not recognizing you. In the future, we’ll call you our boss”
I was a bit satisfied but that didn’t stop him from saying, “Because you realize your mistake, I’ll allow you to slap yourself twenty–five times instead”
Maxwell’s face turned pale but he didn’t complain.
Instead, he said, “You’re generous, Great Doctor”
He couldn’t get on the bad side of this great person again.
He took a deep breath and started slapping himself.
His face turned red and was getting swollen but he didn’t dare to stop.
William turned to Ava and said, “Make sure she takes enough rest. The treatment made her fall asleep”
She also didn’t dare to be arrogant again and nodded her head in embarrassment.
This man who she insulted and even tried to attack several times was indeed experienced in medicine.
Why then is he a trash collector?

The old man had always been nice to him since the day they met and he even allowed William to marry into his family.
He would surely not ignore the old man if he could help him out.
William was approaching the ward in the intensive care unit when he noticed at group of women discussing at the entrance.
He halted his steps sharply..
With just a glance, he recognized his Mother–in–law and her arrogant sisters who had always opposed his stay in the Wilson family.
“Did you invite him here?” The woman who recognized him first was the eldest daughter of master Wilson who was married to a known CEO of a construction company in the city.
She was excessively dressed and a hint of disgust flashed across her face.
Elizabeth also turned but the moment she saw William, her face turned ugly.
She couldn’t hide the shock on her face and almost fell backward.
She stammered, “William, how are you alive?”
