There was an utmost silence all over the place by what had happened.
William didn’t even lift a finger, yet the bodyguard was shamefully defeated and was passed out like a fallen log of wood.
Felicity’s arrogance went off for a second as she realized her bodyguard wasn’t standing up.
Marcus was one of the best fighters in her family but this had happened.
She couldn’t even tell what happened just now.
Even Kate was dumbfounded.

The waiter was now frightened to his bones and took steps away from William for fear of suffering the same fate.
“You! What did you do to him?” Felicity’s face was distorted with anger as she questioned William but kept her distance away from him.

“Just wait and see,” She gritted her teeth and hurried away.
Now that her protector was done she couldn’t stay and run her mouth.

The crowd of people started dispersing for fear of being associated with William.
Soon, the two were the only ones left in the VIP section, and the waiter still couldn’t move from the spot.
He had offended William.
“What are you standing for?” William asked, “Bring in our order”

Kate came back and carried her bag. “I’m sorry William, I have to go now. Something came up at home”
There was a look of urgency in her eyes.
“Is everything alright?” He asked with concern.
“Yes. I just need to help my mother with something. I’ll call you William, I promise” She smiled apologetically.
William made to propose driving her to the place when Amelia Sinclair appeared by the door with her heels echoing in the air.
Her long legs strode in the direction of William.
“Goodbye, William” Kate hurried away and did not even notice the prominent figure in the room.
“Didn’t take you too long to move on” The usual charming smile on Amelia’s face was bright as she had her seat beside William.
“What are you talking about?” He pretended to know nothing about what she was talking about.
“She is beautiful so you might as well not hesitate” Behind Amelia’s calm tone was a worried expression which William couldn’t see.
“Don’t say nonsense, she is a colleague at work” William was tired of people terming Kate as his girlfriend because they are seen together.
Amelia’s mood brightened after hearing this but she didn’t stop her probing.” Are you sure you don’t feel anything now that you’re unmarried again?”
Her brows lifted gently.

“Are you not amazed by how quickly I got them?” She relaxed her frame on the chair with a proud look on her face.
William confirmed the originality of the root with just a few glances and nodded.
“Of course I am. I recognize your effort, Miss Sinclair” This woman found ten Timeless Ginseng roots in less than 3 hours.
Her commitment impressed him.
“Don’t mention, Miracle Doctor. You saved my life”
William cleared his throat and said. “Now we’re even Miss Sinclair but I need your help with something. I’ll owe you one favor in the future, if you ever need my help, you can find me”
Amelia’s green eyes lit up.
