William cleared his throat and said. “Mr. Anderson, I believe we’re acquitted now so there’s no need for us to fight over petty matters. You should train your daughter very well to always respect people and never use her status to oppress others”
Mr. Anderson looked at his daughter who was then quick to protest. “Don’t listen to his nonsense, Father. This loser tried to assault me, he even broke
Marcus‘ hand”
She looked in the direction and he got his support.
“That is right, Mr. Anderson. This man is too arrogant. He refused to give us
his reservation and attacked us”
Felicity’s face turned pale.
She had told her Father something else.
This Marcus really had a wide mouth.
“Shut up! Father, that’s not it. This man here tried to assault me and he even insulted you”
Mr. Anderson frowned slightly after hearing what Marcus said even though his daughter was saying something else.
“I never knew you were this petty to lie to your own Father” William smiled coldly.
She snapped. “I’ll kill you if you say nonsense to me. Do you think you can go scout–free after trying to assault me?”
As much as her father was a decisive and ruthless man, he had a good sense
of judgment.
“I don’t think this is much of a problem. We can check the restaurant’s CCTV. What do you think Mr. Anderson?” William raised his eyes at the head of the family.
Initially, he was at a loss for words because he had planned to personally deal with the one who dared to disrespect his family.

Seeing the feisty attitude of his daughter, he could easily tell who was in the wrong as this wasn’t her first time acting this way.
His fierce gaze was targeted at Marcus who stood behind. “Tell me what happened and if you dare to lie? I’ll have your legs”
Felicity’s expression changed and she tried to argue with her father. “Do you believe this nobody over me? Father, you must deal with him today”
“Be quiet!” He snapped at her.
Marcus shivered for fear. Not even the young miss could save him.
It was now his responsibility to save his head.
He told the head of the family the truth of the matter and this made Felicity’s face become distorted with rage.
She stood at akimbo. “Father, I deserve the VIP reservation. I’m your daughter
and I deserve the best”
Now that she was caught in her lies, she could only get her father on her side.
Mr. Anderson slapped her across the face. “How dare you go around to cause trouble? Do you think you can go around and bully people because you’re my daughter?”
Everyone was stunned.
Mr. Anderson was ruthless, not even his daughter was spared.
Felicity was in a state of shock as she held her face. “Father, why did you slap me? This man disrespected our family”
“No, you disrespected him. Kneel right now and apologize to Mr. Miller”
This was even more shocking than the slap she just received.
Her father wanted her to apologize to this shabbily dressed man.
She would rather dig a grave and bury herself in it.
Felicity stood stubbornly.
Mr. Anderson gritted his teeth at his feisty daughter. “You now think highly of

Her face turned ashen in surprise.
This was the part that hit her the most.
She didn’t think that her father would go this for.
How else would she raise her shoulder high in society if she had no money. and flashy cars?
She had worked for nothing all of her life and had solely depended on the wealth of her father.
This was too much for her.
Felicity saw the look of determination in her Father’s eyes and her
stubbornness was broken down.
With a long face, she dropped to her knees before William and mumbled. “I was wrong. You can overlook this, right?”
“Don’t play around, Felicity” Her father warned angrily.
Now, she had to give a proper apology, “Mr. Miller, everything I did today was wrong. I apologize, and I also promise to respect you in the future”
This was hard for her to say but she had no choice.
Mr. Anderson glanced at William, “Mr. Miller, are you satisfied? I apologize for the behavior of my daughter. It’s my fault for not raising her right”
William smiled calmly, “Don’t be too polite, Mr. Anderson. Children tend to act this way sometimes”
Felicity tightened her fist but couldn’t say anything.
How dare he refer to her as a child?
William Miller got to his feet and exhaled, “I’ll be leaving right now, Mr. Anderson”
“Why don’t you come and have dinner with us?” Anderson proposed but William simply waved his hand,
“I’ll just have the tea”

William gulped in the entire content and felt refreshed.
“This is nice. I guess I might be dropping by often” He dropped a compliment.
The group of armed men was shocked to see Mr. Anderson smile and say, “My doors are always open to you, Mr. Miller”
He had yet to get solid information on this William Miller but he was certain that he was no ordinary person.
Grey Almond was not a respecter of person and sometimes he didn’t even give face to the power–playing family.
Whoever could earn his respect must not be trifled with.
“Mr. Miller, my daughter will drive you. I hope you can let go of this matter”
Felicity’s face was filled with annoyance but she did not dare to voice it out.
Why was her father acting like a child in front of the ordinarily dressed man?
William remembered that he didn’t bring his car along so he shrugged, “That’s okay…”
Felicity almost screamed in anger.
“Hurry up and escort, Mr. Miller” Her father urged her and she couldn’t resist so
she followed him.
Marcus was about to sigh relief when William walked past him but, “You haven’t forgotten our bet, right?”
