Chapter 40: Saving Tracey
Ethan’s jaw cracked and he spat out a mouth full of blood.
He was still trying to understand what was happening when William gripped him by the collar and dealt another blow to his face.
He couldn’t even scream and passed out on the floor.
William took in a deep breath with his eyes shut and managed to calm his
nerves.
Even if they now divorced, this woman had been his wife for five years and he had always watched her from the shadows.
There was always a tendency for him to act this way, seeing her in this state.
Moreover, he hated despicable men like Ethan who used the slightest opportunity to take advantage of women,
The moment he stepped in, his nose had not only picked up the faint scent of coffee in the air but also the ingredients mixed inside.
As one with medical experience, he could tell the smell of drugs in the air.
Tracy had been drugged.
William walked up to her sprawled–up body and felt a ping of emotion in his
heart.
This woman was indeed very beautiful but she never allowed him to touch her.
Now they were divorced.
He carried her out in a bridal style and left Ethan passed out on the floor of the
office.
When William came out with Tracy, everyone’s attention shifted to him and they couldn’t believe their eyes.
“Are they really together?”
“What is William doing with another eminent beauty? This must be a dream”
William wasn’t even listening to the side talks as he left the Waste

The secretary who suspected something wasn’t right quickly ran to Ethan’s office and was shocked to see him on the ground with his face covered in bruises and blood.
She raised a loud alarm.
William’s vehicle arrived at the Wilson’s Villa and this caught the attention of Anna who was taking pictures of herself in front of the pool.
Her eyes lit up as she thought an important guest of the Wilson had arrived.
To her outermost shock, William stepped out of the vehicle with a neutral expression on his face.
Her movement came to an abrupt stop. “You? What do you think you are doing here?”
“Can’t I be here?” William asked as he moved to the other side of the car.
“You are no longer a Wilson, you cannot be here” Anna stood at Akimbo and stared fiercely at him but her mind soon drifted to the vehicle he arrived in.
Wasn’t this the limited edition of the Aston Martin Valkyrie?
How is this loser driving one?
“Where did you steal this car?” She challenged him without even thinking twice.
William laughed heartily. “That is very funny. What if this is my car?”
She made to snort when she saw him helping out someone from the seat of
the car.
Anna got closer and realized it was her sister.

More importantly, she appeared passed out as William carried her in his arms.
“You trash! What did you do to her?” Her face was distorted with rage but William didn’t even give her face as he carried Tracy into the Villa.
“How dare you ignore me?” She managed to double–cross him and puffed her chest up, “I’m not letting you go in. What did you do to my sister? You piece of
trash!”

“She needs to take a rest, I’m not going to argue with you” William moved around her and continued to walk, ignoring her.
He arrived at Tracy’s bedroom and placed her gently on the bed.
She let out a gentle groan and moved her frame slightly.
William took her pulse and confirmed that everything was alright with her system.
Once the drug wore off, she would wake up.
He could speed up the process with his medical skills but he wasn’t ready for her drama.
William took his bag from the room and was ready to leave.
This was why he called Tracy in the first place.
Now, he had nothing to do with Wilson’s villa anymore.
“From now onward, let us have nothing to do together anymore”
He stepped out of the room and wasn’t surprised to see Anna marching. towards him with five bodyguards from the Wilson compound.
The moment she let him be, he knew she was up to something.
“William, do you think you can do whatever you want with the Wilson? I heard what you did to Aunt Natalie, you despicable trash!”
William frowned slightly. “What are you talking about?”
“You think you can beat up Aunt Natalie and go scot–free, do you think we Wilsons are pushovers? What did you do to my sister? If you don’t talk, I’ll make them break your legs” Anna was filled with pride and she wanted to show her dominance in the Wilson household.
William smiled coldly. “You all the same”
He remembered his ex–mother–in–law’s lies against him and now, it was Natalie.
“Your sister will be up soon, you can ask her” William started walking like he didn’t care about what she was saying.

She gritted her teeth. “Deal with this trash picker!”
The bodyguards swarmed at William at the same time but all it took was simple kicks and they were sent crashing against the wall.
Anna took a step back in fright.
Was this the same William she used to bully?
Now, she remembered what he had done to the security guard at the Antique Store the previous day.
The bodyguards remained on the floor and couldn’t get back on their feet.
William lifted his eyes to Anna and said. “The Wilson and I, we no longer have anything to do. If any of you continue to pester me in the future, I might not spare you”
He turned around and walked out.
