Chapter 43: The Arrogant Women
Ophelia puffed her chest with pride and her arrogance could no longer be restrained.
She snorted disdainfully. “Do you think that I’m a loser like you folks? No one of you is a match for me”
“Let me tell you, the commission rate for this Villa is 15%. Can you imagine
how much I would get from selling it? You can never dream of having that amount”
Bella frowned and tightened her fist as Ophelia berated her in the presence of William.
She felt ashamed but couldn’t fight back because of her work ethic.
Bella wanted to make a name for herself and didn’t want her colleagues to know her background.
Only if they knew her father was a powerful Car Dealer in New Spring.
“Mr. Miller, let us go” She just wanted to leave and avoid hearing the ridicule from Ophelia.
William remained rooted to the spot.
There was no way he would watch his agent get bullied and pretend he saw nothing.
This arrogant woman needed to be taught a lesson.
Just then, they heard loud laughter and they turned to see a couple appearing from the other end of the hallway with their arms locked into each other.
The woman was the one laughing.
“William, did you come here to collect garbage?” There was a sinister smile on her face.
William frowned the moment he recognized her.
Her name was Cathy Kennedy.

Cathy had not been to work for the past few week and no one dared to say anything about it.

Ophelia smiled respectfully at the couple and said to the woman, “Cathy, do you know this man? He wants to buy this Villa”
There was a sly smile at the corner of her mouth.
“What? William? Villa?” She began to laugh without control and this even made the man with her frown slightly.
“I’m sure he is here to impress the woman with him. Don’t be deceived by his crudeness. He is a trash picker at my place of work. William cannot even rent the cheapest place in New Spring” She was still laughing after explaining and covered her mouth.
“Don’t say nonsense…” Bella could no longer hold her cool and stepped forward.
She could not stand them disrespecting William.
William wasn’t someone they couldn’t think of offending just like that.
He possessed an Imperial Platinum Card which was a symbol of status and power in the World.
They should choose their words carefully or something might happen to them.
Ophelia stood at Akimbo and said. “Bella, I didn’t know you were this
shameless. You allowed him to deceive you so easily and now you’re trying to defend him, you have no shame”
Bella’s face flushed in embarrassment
“William, is this what you’re doing instead of doing your work? You’re also shameless. Kneel and beg me right now or I’ll call Ethan to dismiss you from the company”
Bella couldn’t even explain what was going on and could only watch.
Did this woman just claim that William picks trash for a living?

Back at the Car Dealership building, another woman had made the same claim.
He didn’t even deny it.
How can this be? Was his Platinum Card a fake?
No way, her father checked the authenticity of the card and confirmed it as Mr. Miller’s.
William crossed his arms and smiled distantly. “Why don’t you call Ethan to fire me?”
“You!” Her face became distorted because William didn’t beg her the way she wanted.
“You want to pretend to be great, right? Just wait and see…”
She pulled out her phone and called her Cousin Brother but there was no response.
She gritted her teeth and tried again.
This time the call went through but another voice came through. “Ms. Kennedy,
the Boss was just picked up by the police from his office and they were ruthless with him”
She recognized the voice as Ethan’s secretary.
“What?” Cathy almost screamed.
“I think this has to do with The Sinclair Family. The company has been in jeopardy and almost all of our Investors have pulled out. They are even willing to pay the fee for breach of contract” The secretary chirped in.
“The Sinclair?” Cathy shivered in fear, “What does this have to do with the Sinclair?”
“The Boss offended them. You must find William and beg him to help us talk to the eldest Miss of the Sinclair family. I have to go now” The call was hung up. on her.
Cathy scoffed as she stared at William.
Beg him? That secretary must have been drunk on something and was saying
nonsense.

“Mr. David Louis is here” Ophella announced with a smile on her face.
Two smartly dressed men in business–class attire came by the hallway and they were accompanied by a uniformed security team.
“This is my Boss, Mr. Louls” Ophelia quickly introduced the couple to the mant on the left.
Cathy’s face returned to normal and she was quick to forget her resentment for William. “It’s a pleasure to finally see you in person, Mr. Louis”
She shook his hand and then pointed to the man beside her, “This is my fiancée”
David Louis cleared his throat and said. “I believe you are the interested buyer. Why have I been summoned here? Perhaps you want adjustment or additional rebuild to certain areas. That can be considered”
He was a busy businessman and thus went straight to the point.
Cathy’s fiancée forced a smile and replied. “No, Mr. Louis. My girlfriend and I love this Villa. Everything is perfect. Mr. Louis, why don’t we talk about $50 Million? I’ll send the money right away”
The calm look on David’s face was slowly transforming into an ugly one. “What is that supposed to mean?”
“Boss, what he is trying to say is that he could pay $50 Million now? Mr. Lewis here will continue
Raw the rest in installments” Ophelia tried to smooth
things over with her soft voice.
“Nonsense!” David stamped his foot angrily on the ground, “I asked for a buyer, not a negotiator. $205 Million. No cent less”
“If they can’t afford it perhaps you can save your time by dealing with me” William who had been quiet finally spoke.
“Young Master?!” The man who had come with David Louis exclaimed in shock.
