Chapter 45: Arrested
William’s forehead creased in annoyance as he watched the policemen approach him from different directions.
He recognized their team leader who was the burly man.
“Timothy, what is going on here?” He asked.
Timothy was one of Tracy’s uncles who worked as an inspector in the police department.
Timothy grinned hideously and said. “You have always been useless, William, but I didn’t think you would be this shameless. Because Tracy didn’t let your touch her with your trash hands, you decided to be despicable”
William frowned. “I don’t know what you’re talking about Timothy”
“Ha–ha…You want to pretend to be innocent now. We won’t let you off, William Miller. You have continuously assaulted members of the Wilson Family and think highly of yourself”
Timothy turned to the men beside him, “What are you waiting for? Arrest this shameless man”
Was this a ploy by the Wilson family to take revenge on him?
William didn’t know what was going on but fighting with cops wasn’t an option in his book.
He would only draw more attention to himself and escalate whatever is happening.
“Can I make a call to get my lawyer?” William asked with a slight raise of his brows.
Timothy laughed evilly. “Not even the best lawyer in this City can save you, William Miller. Can you even afford a lawyer?”
William directly sent a voice note to Almond Grey. “I have just been arrested and falsely accused of assaulting my ex–wife, you know what to do”
Stretching out his hands, he allowed himself to be handcuffed and taken away by the police.

Almond Grey was attending to a VIP guest in his office when his phone lit up with a message from his Young Master.
He hurriedly plugged in his earphones and listened to the voice note.
His face turned red in anger and he slammed his palm on the table causing the papers to fly away.
“Audacious! Do they want to die?”
This reaction shook the VIP guest who had never seen this side of the bank Manager before.
Ava Sinclair joined her sister inside the Rolls–Royce Phantom and handed over a ticket to her. “I got one ticket for you too, Sister. We can go see the movie tonight, together”

“Is that his name?” Ava laughed.
Instead of responding, Amelia turned the vehicle around and hit the accelerator, pulling the vehicle at a great speed.
Ava stopped laughing and demanded. “Where are we going to?”

William was taken straight into the interrogation room and he was surprised to find Tracy waiting for him there with her sister, Anna.
“William, you shameless bastard!” His ex–wife threw herself into a fit of rage the moment she saw him and even tried to attack him.
William smiled coldly. “Tracy, is this how you try to repay me?”
Now, he could easily tell that Tracy had talked to the police and got him arrested.
“How dare you continue to speak?” Tracy’s face was distorted with anger, “You think I didn’t know that you planned it out with your Boss to take advantage of me? I never knew you were this shameless”
He saved her from Ethan and this is what he gets.
Did she despise him this much to link him to the crime?
“You’re saying what you don’t know Tracy. I saved you from my Boss. I don’t even work there anymore, I resigned this morning”
“Liar!” Tracy’s body shook, “You think I don’t know that you have always wanted. to do despicable things to me? Is this your revenge? You’re such a shameless man, William Miller”
“William, you will suffer for everything that you have done. With Uncle Timothy here, you will spend the rest of your life in prison and not be able to act recklessly again” Anna snorted and she was finally excited to see William Miller in this helpless state.
Timothy stepped forward and was puffed up with pride. “Just leave this to me. Niece. 11l make this arrogant man confess to his crimes”
“Don’t go easy on him” Tracy’s eyes were filled with disdain and hatred.
She left with her sister.
Timothy smiled coldly at William and said. “If you confess your crimes now, I might go easy on you”
The officer beside him was brandishing a torture stun baton to scare William.
“Thaten’t been declared guilty by the court yet. Is it right to do this behind closed doors?” William yawned lazily.
Timothy was annoyed by his arrogance and clenched his fist. “I am the law here. Even if I kill you right now, no one will say anything. Are you ready to talk
now?”
“Do whatever you want”
Timothy turned to the man beside him and commanded. “Deal with him”
The other officer stepped forward and smiled evilly as he switched active the stun baton in his possession.
“I won’t go easy on you?
He pressed the stun baton against William’s neck, delivering a high–voltage electrical shock through his skin.
The spiritual energy in William surged violently and attacked the foreign energy that had entered his system.
The electrical shock was absorbed by his spiritual energy and converted into the energy that was flowing through his meridians already.
William didn’t even bulge.
The man was shocked and he took a step back.
He charged the stun baton again and tried to torture William with it but it wasn’t working.
“You useless head! Did you bring faulty equipment here?” Timothy was

The man let out a loud pig scream as the electrical shock disrupted the function of his nervous system and he dropped to the ground, incapacitated.
