Chapter 47: The Ungrateful Ex–Wife
Tracey had been stunned by the slap from her Uncle but she couldn’t react because of the video playing before her eyes.
Turns out the useless William Miller had broken into his Boss‘ office and beat him up before taking her away.
Her face twitched uncontrollably and she didn’t believe what she was seeing.
“No, this is not it. He must have had another plan and fell out with his Boss. William, you’re trash and despicable. How can you save me?” She snorted coldly.
Almond Grey’s countenance changed and he made to act but William stopped him with a simple glance.
Even the Lieutenant was displeased by Tracey’s action.
“Be careful of the things you say, Ms. Wilson. I have personally investigated this. Let me tell you if you don’t know, Mr. William Miller had arranged for his Boss to be arrested after the incident and Ethan has already confessed.
He was trying to get back at William over a dispute. Also, he might have had his eyes on you for a while. The culprit will be arraigned before the court and we’ll make sure he pays for his action. Your ex–husband is innocent of the accusations you throw but if you keep pursuing this matter, I won’t stop him from taking legal action”
Tracey’s face turned pale.
Did William truly save her from his despicable Boss?
Throughout their marriage, William had always respected her wishes and never
touched her.
Lieutenant Nicholas was known for his sense of justice in New Spring so there was no way he was siding with the useless William Miller.
Moreover, she had herself checked already and realized her chastity was still intact but still suspected William to have done something to her.
Her face turned red at the realization that she might have been wrong about
the matter.

“Ms. Wilson, I advise that you apologize to Mr. Miller so that he doesn’t pursue the matter. You have wronged him” Lieutenant Dennis Nicholas proposed.
“I don’t need her to apologize. They shouldn’t bother me in the future” William turned around and began to walk away with Almond Grey.
The Tracey Wilson he now knew was puffed up with pride and would never admit that she was wrong.
There was no use bothering with her.
Tracey quickly ran forward and crossed his way. “William, don’t be like this. If you weren’t despicable, I wouldn’t have suspected you of doing despicable things”
“You mean to say it’s my fault” There was a cold smile on her face.
He was amazed by how far her narcissistic behavior had grown.
“William, my sister is trying to act calm with you after the despicable things you. have done to the Wilson and you still dare to be arrogant” Anna berated him from the side where she stood with a disgusted look.
One sharp glance from William was enough to make her stagger back and keep quiet.
“This doesn’t change the fact that you ruined Aunt Natalie’s face and caused her fiancee to break off their engagement” Tracey stood at akimbo as she continued from where her sister stopped.
Almond Grey was now filled with rage but he could do nothing because the Young Master had instructed him to stand down.
Does this woman even know who she is talking all of this nonsense to?
She definitely doesn’t know anything.
“Get your facts straight Tracey, it’s easy to believe your family over me. because that’s exactly what you want. You should really ask your Aunt who dealt with her and what she did” William responded lazily and just wanted to leave because he could no longer keep up with this woman’s behavior.
Just then, “There you are Darling, is this woman bothering you?”

Tracey’s face was scrunched up in confusion.
This was the second time she saw the prestigious Amelia Sinclair act cozy around her useless ex–husband.

This woman was always there to rescue him from the nonchalant behavior of his ex–wife and she didn’t even know her limit.
“Ms. Sinclair, your hand is touching him, perhaps you don’t know” Tracey stammered, still not comprehending what was going on.
There was a smug look on Amelia’s face as she pulled herself even closer to William’s chest and said. “Is that your problem? If you keep troubling my man, I’ll be forced to take action, Ms. Wilson”
William’s forehead creased but she didn’t even give him the chance to react as she pulled him away.
Almond Grey couldn’t hide his smile and he followed them.
The Young Master decided to have the number one eminent beauty by his side after falling out with number three, this was marvelous.
“Mr. Miller, I’ll be on my way” He left quickly.
