Chapter 24
Marcus quickly followed after Julian and asked, “Jullan, where are you going?”
Julian replied, “I’m going home to get Samuel. He wants to see Ms. Hart, I’ll leave this place to you for now. You need to have this company operating as soon possible.”
Upon hearing this, Marcus looked sad. “Why me?” Julian was supposed to be one charming Celeste, so why did he have to take on the burden for his brother?
Julian looked at Marcus and said matter–of–factly, “Didn’t you say that you have time on your hands? Don’t tell me you want me to handle this when you’re the one who has time.”
Marcus wore a bitter expression on his face.
Julian made it sound as if it was so easy. But did he know how much effort it took to manage a new company?
Why did Julian sound so relaxed? It was as if the task he had given Marcus was a piece of cake to deal with!
As if he could read his thoughts, Jullan took out his car keys from his pocket. Then, he tossed it at Marcus and said, “just do your job, and I’ll give you a three- month break when it’s over.”
Marcus became excited and yelled, “I–It’s the new prototype for the new limited–edition Maybach! Goodness, I love you so much!” Then, he excitedly hugged Julian and said, “julian, you can’t go back on your word! I’ll have a three–month break!”
Julian pushed Marcus away in disgust and said, “Yeah, I won’t do that if you do your job well”
Marcus remained excited. “Don’t worry. I’ll do a good job!
He was going to have a three–month break! He hadn’t had a day off ever since his brother forced him to join the company atter he graduated from college.
Marcus immediately decided that he’d go on vacation in the coastal regions. He could enjoy the company of beautiful women and spend all day admiring women in bildnis on the beach.
It was simply wonderful.
When Julian saw that Marcus had begun to daydream about his break, he shook his head in amusement. Then, without saying anything else, he turned around to leave.
At 6:00 pm, Julian brought Samuel to Peony Residences.
Since the two of them knew their way around, they went straight to the elevator. But unexpectedly, they bumped into Celeste at the elevator entrance.
Celeste was about to buy some groceries when she saw Julian carrying Samuel, who was holding a bouquet of roses. She was so shocked by the sight that she didn’t know how to react.
Even so, Samuel enthusiastically held up the bouquet and sweetly said, “Ms. Hart, this is for you.”
It had been a few days since they last saw each other. But now, Samuel looked even more plump with his chubby cheeks. His delicate looks would catch anyone’s heart.
Celeste happily carried both Samuel and the bouquet. “What are you two doing here?”
Julian explained, “Samuel missed you very much. He pestered me to bring him here.”
Even when Julian blamed him for pestering him, Samuel didn’t refute. Instead, he affectionately hugged Celeste’s neck and said, “I’ve missed you so much, Ms. Hart. Grandpa and Grandma are so mean. They won’t let me see you.”
Celeste smiled at Samuel’s words as she walked home with him in her arms. She kissed him on the cheek and said, “I’ve missed you, too.”
Julian followed after them and asked, “Were you about to go out just now?
Celeste nodded. “Yeah, I just wanted to buy some food home to celebrate. I found a new job.”
“Really? Congratulations. Why don’t we go together?”
“Huh?” Celeste was stunned,

Julian said, “Dula’t you want to buy some food? Samuel and will go with you.”
