“Why did she run away then?” Samuel sobbed on Julian’s shoulder.
Julian patted his back and said, “Some bad people bullled her, and I couldn’t protect her. I’ll ask Uncle Marcus to pick you up later. Head home with him for now. I promise I’ll help you bring Ms. Hart back, olay?”
Samuel looked up at him and said, “I want to go with you. I want to see Ms. Hart.”
“You can’t for now. Just listen to me. If you still want to see her, you have to head home. Otherwise, you’ll never see her again.”
After hearing Julian’s words, Samuel frowned and was about to cry again,

Julian narrowed his eyes dangerously and said, “Don’t show any mercy when you deal with them.”
Marcus could tell that something was wrong and quickly asked, “What happened? Did William piss you off again? Or did he upset Celeste?”
Julian didn’t intend to explain the situation. He simply picked up his coat and put it on, saying, “Samuel will stay with you tonight.”
“Huh?” Marcus was stunned. He hurriedly said, “I mean, sure, but you have to tell me what happened!”
But julian didn’t say anything and left without looking back.
After Julian left the restaurant, he quickly drove to Peony Residences. He usually needed half an hour to get there, but he only took 20 minutes this time. After arriving at the apartment building, he looked at Celeste’s place and saw that the lights were on
