Celeste was surprised, and her first thought was that Samuel and Julian were there.
She instinctively stood up, grabbed the bathrobe, and put it on. She didn’t even cate that her hair was still wet as she ran to the door.
Her heart was pounding. However, she didn’t open the door immediately. Instead, she looked through the peephole and saw an unfamiliar face.
It was a woman wearing a black cap and green T–shirt, Celeste recognized that this woman was wearing the uniforms from the convenience store downstairs. She opened the door in confusion. But just as she was about to talk, the woman nicely said, “Hello, Ms. H
Hart. Here’s the water you ordered.”
After speaking, she handed over a large bag of iced mineral water.
“Huh?” Celeste was a little confused. “I didn’t order any water. Did you bring it to the wrong place?”
“No,
this is for the resident in apartment B–408. It’s for you, Ms. Celeste Hart.” The employee smiled and passed the bag to Celeste. Then, she said, “This is a bit heavy. Hold it steady.”
After doing so, she turned around and left without even waiting for Celeste’s response.
Celeste was a little dumbfounded. However, she had no choice but to place the water aside and close the door.
Unexpectedly, when she tumed around, she saw palian leaning against the door, leisurely staring at her. His gaze was fathomless, and there was even a hint of coldness in his expression.
He was so beautiful that Celeste couldn’t take her eyes away from b

He said, “That lady’s right. That water is for you.” His voice was deep and alluring.
Celeste then realized that Jullan was the one who had bought the water. He’d even used this way t

“W–What are you doing here?” she asked, slightly embarrassed. She felt ashamed to face him.

However, Celeste couldn’t even voice out any of those thoughts, and as her mind raced, Julian was already standing in front of her.

Celeste’s heart was caught in her throat now, and she wondered what he was about to do. Kiss her?
No way. Why would he kiss her? They barely knew each other!
