The negotiation team kept pushing hard, pointing out every wealness in Creative Solutions.
Now, Louis was starting to look worn out and was close to accepting their low offer.
But just as he was about to agree, there was a knock at the office door.
An assistant came in quickly and said, “Mr. Stone, Mr. Marcus from Ford Corporation is here.”
Everyone in the room was surprised.
Louis jumped up, shocked, “Who did you say is here?”
The assistant repeated, “It’s Marcus Ford from Ford Corporation!”
Louis panicked when be heard that Marcus was here.
But why now? After all, they were close to finalizing the deal, and Marcus showing up might give William an advantage.
If Marcus and William got along, all of Louis’s hard work might be wasted.
After calming himself down, Louis said, “Mr. Prescott, we have an important guest arriving. Let’s pause our discussion for now.
“I’ll be back soon to continue.”
William smiled and said, “No problem, Mr. Stone, I’ll go meet Mr. Marcus too.”
William seemed to think the same
same way.
Given Prescott Group’s dominance compared to the smaller Creative Solutions, they had a stronger position in negotiating with Ford Corporation. After all, making a favorable impression on Marcus could be advantageous, and they were eager to seize the opportunity.
The negotiation team caught on to this and agreed with nods and smiles. “Meeting Mr. Marcus first seems like a prudent move. We can finalize the price afterward,
So, everyone left to meet Marcus, leaving Louis behind, worried and frustrated.
In Creative Solutions reception room, Marcus comfortably sat with his legs crossed.
However, even though he looked relaxed, everyone knew that he was someone important.
Marcus was young, but he was already a key figure at Ford Corporation.
His good looks and easygoing manner made him very appealing to others, and the young woman serving tea was obviously nervous and seemed to be completely smitten with him.
Marcus noticed this and gave her a friendly smile. “Thank you,” he said warmly.
The tea server’s heart raced, and she left the room looking dazed.
Marcus chuckled to himself and hummed a little tune while sipping his tea. He clearly enjoying the attention.
Just then, the door opened, and Louls walked in with a few other people.
