Chapter 61
Samuel felt extremely upset and ended up sobbing
Julian remained expressionless. His lips pressed tightly together and he said nothing.
“Ms. Hart called me at lunch today. She said she would sleep with me tonight. Did you make her angry? You need to apologize to her and bring her back! Samuel tugged on Julian’s trousers with both hands.
Julian replied in a slightly imitated tone, “Be good, and don’t ask for Ms. Hart anymore.”
With Celeste gone and Julian scolding him, Samuel felt even more upset. He ran back into his room out of frustration
Julian rubbed his temples and ignored the situation. He went back to his room and lit acigarette. His mind replayed what Celeste had said earlier and his eyes darkened
What happened in the past?
He didn’t want to investigate it because Celeste was really sensitive about it. Before, he had her trust, But now, Julian didn’t know what to do….
While surrounded by smoke, his silhouette appeared lonely and cold.
Celeste finally calmed down after returning to her place. She suddenly wondered if she had been too harsh with Julian. He had helped her so much yet she treated him this way.
And then there was Samuel. He must be really upset without her!
Celeste could almost imagine Samuel crying and calling out for her. But since she had already said what she said, there was no taking her words back. No matter what, it was time to end things.
She sighed and lay in bed, struggling to fall asleep.
The next morning, she woke up with dark circles under her eyes. However, she went straight to work
Upon arriving at the office, the head of the department handed over a project that had been transfected to Creative Solutions.
“Celeste, though you haven’t been with us long, your skills are well–recognized in our company. I believe you’ll do this well”
Celeste didn’t refuse. But then she thought about Samuel and it made her feel worse. Though they hadn’t spent much time together, she had subconsciously started to think of him as her own. But now..
She sighed and replied, “Don’t worry, Ms. Hall! I’ll do this project well.”
She wasn’t able to do much for Samuel, So she decided to treat this project as the last thing she could do for him.
with that thought, Celeste immersed herself in her work
In contrast to her calmness, the staff at Ford Corporation had been wallding on eggshells since the morning.
It started when julian arrived at work
As usual, Nancy brought in a cup of coffee. But after a sip, he expressed his dissatisfaction. Nancy had to make another cup. After ten cups of coffee, none of them could satisfy Julian

Then, even the employees who brought documents to his office were reprimanded. During the meeting, every department head was scolded. This wasn’t d well; that was too poor.
Design drafts and project proposals were all sent back for revision. It left the employees in tears.
While julian had always been strict, it seemed like he was on a rampage today. He seized on any issue to unleash his frustration.
