Michael shook his head as he smiled. “What he said wasn’t what he actually meant.”
It was obvious that Julian wanted to see Celeste, but he had mentioned that he didn’t want to go in just an

At the same time, tension grew at Hart Estate, Ethan had received the news that Joel had been detained.
No one had expected things to go wrong when they had planned everything.
Not only did the policemen handle the case, but they also alerted the hospital director.
Ethan grew more furious when he thought about how Miranda had been sent back and he had even paid Joel 500 thousand dollars.
“Dad, what happened? Who helped Celeste secretly? Was it Julian Ford?”
The person who spoke was Stacy. She couldn’t help but recall the incident at the restaurant the other day at the mention of Julian. She wondered what was so great about Celeste that even an outstanding man would be interested in her
Ethan’s face was grim. They couldn’t think of anyone else other than Julian.
Frowning, Susan asked, “Dear, what should we do with the project?”
Celeste hated the Harts to the core. And now, they couldn’t do anything through Miranda.
“Yeah. Dad, what if Ford Corporation refuses to work with us? Our family and William’s family.”
The Prescott family and the Hart family hadn’t expected this. If they couldn’t work with Ford Corporation for this project, both of their companies would suffer huge loss
Ethan furrowed his brows and cut Stacy off, his voice tinged with impatience. “shut up.”
“If you hadn’t fired Celeste from Creative Solutions, things wouldn’t have escalated to this stage. William is still lying in the hospital now and can’t even help us out. What useless rubbish!”
Anger surged within Ethan as he said that. If he had seen this coming, be wouldn’t have been that cruel to Celeste a few years ago.
Stacy stared at Ethan in disbelief, her eyes full of grievance.
“Dad, how could you blame me?”
“Enough Stacy, your dad is furious. Stop talking,” Susan immediately advised.
Stacy gritted herteeth. Many years had passed, and Celeste had nothing left. Stacy wondered why she was still the one at a disadvantage.
Ethan had blamed her for the first time in many years because of Celeste.
Meanwhile, Celeste was taking care of her mother in the hospital ward. The doctor had examined Miranda a while ago and said she was fine. Celeste felt mote relieved.
Miranda had been transferred to a private room from the semi–private room. The environment was much better.
celeste had wanted to turn down the offer, but the director of the hospital had come personally to apologize. He had insisted on malding the arrangement to make up for the hospital’s mistake.
Celeste had accepted the hospital’s kind offer after considering it for a while.
She carried over some warm water and helped Miranda to wipe her face and hands. Miranda lay on the bed quietly with her eyes closed.
Celeste’s eyes turned red uncontrollably as she held Miranda shands tightly.
“Mom, I was worried sick tonight. You must be safe, or else I don’t know what I should do. You’re the only one I have.”
Miranda was Celeste’s only mental support now, and she couldn’t live without her.
“Mom, wake up, please? I really want to hear your voice. I’m all grown up now and I can take care
