Celeste felt a bit guilty. She wondered if any of her colleagues had seen Julian hugging her at the entrance earlier.
Sabrina nodded, though she still seemed puzzled.
“Alright then, but if you’re not feeling well, make sure to let me know. Don’t work while you’re sick.” Celeste was connected to their boss after all, so Sabrina had to lookout for her.
“okay, thank you, Ms. Anderson, Celeste responded with a smile.
Once Sabrina left, Celeste opened the file next to her and tried to focus on work, pushing the earlier events out of her mind.
The day passed quickly. Celeste stopped by the market after work to buy groceries before heading home. She had only been home for a short while when the doorbell rang.
Of course, it was none other than Samuel coming over for dinner.
“Ms. Hart, I’m here!”
“Come on in.” Celeste smiled then paused as she remembered something. She asked, “Sam, who brought you here?”
Could Julian be waiting downstairs like he did that other time?
Samuel blinked loolong a bit startled. “The chauffeur!”
Celeste could tell right away that Samuel was lying. She smiled wryly, feeling helpless against the father and son duo.
“Why do you ask, Ms. Hart?” Could Celeste have figured that it was Julian who had sent him there?
“It’s late, and the chauffeur hasn’t had dinner yet. How about inviting him up? Celeste suggested.
“Ah?” Samuel blinked in confusion, suddenly feeling a bit troubled, What should he do?
The person downstairs wasn’t the chauffeur, but it was Julian! Would Celeste let Julian come up for dinner? Oh well, as long as Julian got to eat, then that was all that mattered.

The three of them went upstairs, and Celeste said, “You two can sit in the living room for a bit while I cook”

Unable to refuse, Celeste led the three of them into the kitchen. Jullan rolled up his sleeves and started washing the vegetables.
This was the first time Celeste had seen him in the kitchen, and she couldn’t help but glance at him. Wow, how could a man be so good–looking? This scene was simply a feast for the eyes
