Marus thought he’d heard wrong, and Nancy also looked somewhat confused. They exchanged puzzled glances and stated at julian
However, Julian remained silent. His expression was cold and stern as it he hadn’t said anything. They couldn’t help but think they were insigining things. Marcus reacted excitedly, “Julian, did 1 hear that right? Did you say that you’re getting mantled soon?
Julian looked at him coldly. “You misheard.”
“No! I definitely didn’t! How could I? Nancy, you heard him too, right? He said it might happen soon. What’s going on? I was only gone for a few days.”
Marcus was delighted. This news was too shocking. After all, julian was more abstinent than priest. Marcas didn’t think the former would get aroused even if he took performance–enhancing pills. But now, his older brother was saying that he would get married soon.
“Who did you fall for? Which family is she from? What does she looklike?”

Marcus Immediately choked up, and tears welled up in his eyes at the antal mess of the situation. He was dying to know what happened, but Julian’s tips were sealed. Marcus couldn’t possibly eat or sleep that night without knowing the answers.
Since Celeste had special pemission to sidp work that day, she enjoyed relaxing at home and caring for Samuel. He was very well–behaved and followed Celeste around like a lost puppy.
Celeste was worried he might get bored in the evening, so she took him out. She bought some groceries and planned to cook a meal for him, thinking that it would be the last time.
She didn’t think Julian would continue sleeping on the couch and that Samuel wouldn’t stay either. Although she felt saddened by the thought of Samuel leaving. the knew that this was merely a beautiful mistake. Once Julian and Sansel returned to the Ford family, they would have nothing to do with her.
That evening. Julian arrived as expected.
Celeste wasn’t too surprised and let Julian in. She said, “inner is ready, Mr. Fond. 1 you don’t mind, you can eat before taking Samuel home.” Julian replied. “I don’t mind at all. I brought some of
some of Sam’s clothes here.”
Celeste was stunned. She didn’t quite understand what he was sayinE.
Julian added, “It doesn’t seem like Sam’s willing to leave. So I’m here to discuss something with you. Is it possible for Sam to stay here with you?” Celeste was shocked. “I don’t think that’s a good idea.”
Although she liked Samuel a lot, she couldn’t always take care of him.
Julian noticed her concem and explained gravely, “Although that’s the case, I meally need your help, Mr. Hant. To be honest, Sam has shown signs of autism. It’s not that obvious, but when he throws a tantrum, he shuts himself in his room, breaks things, and even hurts himselt. I’ve consulted psychologists and tried my best to take care of tum, but I haven’t been able to address this issue fully

Celeste was filled with mixed emotions when she heard Julian’s words. She neverthought Samuel would have such a condition as he didn’t appear to be autistic at all. She even began to suspect that Julian was lying to her.

With that in mind, Celeste didn’t refuse.
“I’ve only known the young one for less than two days, so I don’t think I have that much inthener on him. Still, we can work something out if you want to leave him here with me. I can’t careforhim during the day since I have to work.”
Julian was satisfied that he had achieved his goal. He quickly changed the subject.
“Is dinner ready? I’m hungry.”
“Yes. I’ll set the table,”
Celeste suddenly realized that something seemed off. The situation felt much like a wife w
welcoming her husband home. The thought sent chills down her spine, and she couldn’t help but think something must be wrong with herselt.
After dinner, she began to hope that Julian would leave soon. However, it seemed as it fate was playing a joke on lies. There was a loud clap of thunder, and it began to rain heavily.

Celeste felt conflicted to hear this. Driving in this weather was dangerous, and she couldn’t afford to take responsibility if anything happened.
“If you don’t mind, you could stay on the sofa for another night,” she said awkwardly.
Julian’s eyes lit up, and he said, “Then I’ll take you upon that offer.” He didn’t even bother to refuse. Celeste felt somewhat deceived
