Chapter 66: The Extra Boyfriend
Perry’s Lace tumed grin.
The reporters immediately sensed a big story and pressed closer
Perry frowned, “What Baker family? I’m talking about a popular live streamer! As far as I know, this streamer is based In A City,”
“As for the Baker family, sorry, I don’t know them.”
Peory was annoyed.
What Baker family? I’m talking about our boss.
These people bringing up Bakercould cause misunderstandings.
The Baker family members accompanying the reporters felt awkward.
This vice president from the capital had just belittled them thoroughly.
But they had to tolerate it for the sake of investment from such a prominent company
At the Kashi Mansion, Madame Kashi looked at the Baker family members and chuckled, “Who could make them so subdued?”
Then, she turned to trene, “trene, have you met your fiancé?
Madame Kashi’s question was calm, not expecting mych trene replied directly, “The engagement has been called off.”
Madame Kashi’s eyes showed a hint of guilt, “Is it because of me that they..
Irene smiled, “No, Deandma, they just don’t like me. Besides, I didn’t like the so–called fiance anyway. I couldn’t imagine a life married to lem.” Irene acted like a rebellious teenager, making Madame Kashi laugh
Madame Kashi sighed softly, watching Trene
Irene had always been independent and decisive, rarely showing such expressions, all because of her
But then Madame Kashi got angry, “What? They don’t like you?
Irene comforted Madame Kashi, helping her lie down on the bed, “It’s fine, Grandma, I didn’t want to continue the engagement anyway.‘ Madame Kashi hesitated, “Should I talk to them? If I step in, they would have to acknowledge it, and you could continue with that boy.”
Irene smiled helplessly, “Grandma, I really don’t like him anymore.”
Seeing Madame Rashi’s skeptical look, Tone added, “Really, I already have a boyfriend.”
Madame Kashi sat up in surprise, “What? Is it the one who delivered something to our house last time?”
Before Irene could answer, Madame Kashi started talking to herself, eyes sparkling, “Oh, that boy is nice. Polite, from a decent family, good character! Excellent choice.”
Treme was momentarily stunned, realizing Madame Kashi had been thinking about this for a while, and hesitated.
Madame kashi slowly lay back down, “I knew you were lying.”
She turned to look out the window, appearing very lonely.
Irene sighed.
She knew Madame Kashi was pretending, but she couldn’t stand seeing her like this, so she reluctantly said, “Yes”
Madame Kashi tumed back with a smile, and Trene gave lira beautiful smile in return.
“Cheat, I knew it. That boy clearly has a cleariness obsession but let you touch him without reacting. That means something,” Madame Raslu said, extremely happy.
Irene chucked softly.
Grandma was as sharp as ever. She had noticed it too.
But it was because Stefan needed to learn combat and had to interact with her, not because of any affection.
But for now, she let Grandma think so,
Madame Kasli asked, “Why hasn’t he come recently? Young couples should stick together all the time.”
Irene stood up, ceasing up the snacks Emma had left, “He’s on a business t
trip.”
Just then, Yuna walked by the window and heard this, smiling, “I saw him! He came to see Irene before leaving to say goodbye!”
“Good, good!” Madame Kashi was completely reassured, feeling a bit tired by noon, Irene left her to rest.
Back in her room, Irene texted Stefan.
Borrowing you for a bit.”
Stefan, far away on another continent, looked at lus phone, amused by the message.
T explain later.”
stefan smiled and replied with a smiley face.

Trene, seeing his approval, felt relieved.
Suddenly, there was a knock on the door. Madame Kashi’s voice called, “Irene, are you asleep?*
Irene calmly excited the chat and opened the door, “What’s up, Grandma?
Madame Kashi, wrapped in a long start, looked worried, “I checked the prices of the TV and fridge he bought. They are very expensive. Does his family have good financial conditions? Will you feel pressured being with ham?”
Seeing her grandmother’s concerned and worried look, Irene felt overwhelmed. She smiled, “He listens to me.”
Madame Kash continued, “Irene, don’t be too strong in your relationship. You said he runs a company, so he must be decisive. Your strength should be expressed differently. Be gentle on the surface but make him do what you want.”
Irene smiled and nodded.
Madame Kashi watched her expression, “How do you usually contact him?
“By phone.”
Madame Kashi said, “Call him now. Let me hear how you interact. If you have a boyfriend, develop the relationship well. Being together for life can be very happy.” Irene was caught off guard, “I’ll ask if he’s available.”
Madame Kashi nodded.
Irene: Are you available to take a call now?
She added a sarcastic smiley face.
He should know it’s not convenient, right?
But Stefan, seeming to miss the cue, replied, “Available.”
Madame Kashi beamed, “Great, make the call ”
Irene pinched her nose, fine, let’s call then.
The video call connected, showing Stefan in a suit, sitting on a vintage leather sofa, the background a romantle villa with intricate wallpaper, and outside a vast field with horse trainers. A large bust stood behind him.
Unseen by Irene, several men in suits, clearly foreign nobles, watched Stefan with amusement, whispering in old Y language.
Stefan, holding a stack of papers, looked at Irene on the screen with a relaxed, elite aura, “What’s up?”
